Not sure 600g needs a tub anymore - a cardboard box would do.

We down to 600 now. Enoughs enough with these companies taking us all for fools!

These tubs are not worth it. All the brands taste horrible, reduced sizing and a scam...

Yeah but it's wondrfully horrible. I'm a roses man personality. You can't beat some junk Choc.
Sure I love hotel chocolate but that's actual chocolate.
This is unashamed rubbish and most satisfying.

And just to think, these were £2.50 for 900 grams. So the have reduced the size by 33% and increased the price. Well done Nestle

Not heard of inflation then? You could buy a house in London for £1000 in 1930!

    It's Christmas already?

As regards the post above, this is very true. And the 6lb (2.72kg) tins only cost £2.08.

One little snag though - inflation since 1972 means that the equivalent 2023 price would be around £35!!!

These work out at just over £18 for the same quantity. I agree that the chocolates were better, but despite all the complaints about shrinkflation they're a lot cheaper now in real terms than they used to be.

In the early 70’s Quality Street tins had 6LB of wrapped sweets and Cadbury Roses weighed just a little less. The chocolates were also made to a superior recipe and tasted much better.
