£1.25 Quality Street Metal Tins - Reduced to clear in Tesco, this is the bigger metal tin compared to the rubbish plastic tubs

Plenty of stock left in my store but obviously will be a case of whatever was left from Christmas.

We also have a load of Christmas specific chocolates that were reduced, big packs of Lindt, milk tray, black magic, Lindt lindor hazelnut, 720g Lindt lindor milk chocolate, Thornton’s classic 720g all reduced to around the £2-£3 mark

Heres an idea......... if you see a stack instore why not buy an extra tin and stick it in the foodbank collection point at the front door?

A nice gesture that may bring you some good Karma in 2018 ?

Selling that at £1.50 proves that Tesco are a socially irresponsible company. We all end up paying for it in taxes. 10% of NHS budget goes on diabetes alone.

No one forces you to eat the lot of them

The thing with this is next year they wont sell them because "there was no consumer demand for the bigger tin" when in reality its just that there is no demand for sh**y quality street. If these were massive tins of Celebrations guaranteed there'd be none left

I doubt you actually need 15 tins of chocolate and bought them because you could afford to spend £18.75 on unnecessary stuff so, after sorting out what you really want, perhaps you might think about dropping a couple off at your local food bank for families who have nothing?

While items like this are selling at unbelievable prices why not buy some and give them to old peoples homes, the homeless or suchlike. Just a thought...

Hopefully someone who lives near both a Tesco and a hospital can do what I can't right now and buy a tin then take in to the long-suffering NHS staff.

Just a small thank you when the government pretends they're doing right by them, which is lying through their teeth.

Isn't it strange how there are bed shortages when hospitals have been closed left, right and centre? It just doesn't make sense does it?

So if someone can take in a tin on my behalf.. I'll happily shout you twice the money and then some. Bravo, doctors and nurses.

A pallet is left at willenhall and the sale is restricted to 6 tins per customer . It is nationwide sale I believe.

Just back from Tesco and was all excited by a) a great deal and b) finally being able to post a hot deals worthy offer but beaten to it. Heat added.

Could even dump the chocolate. Those tins would be handy storage in the garage.

I certainly don’t need 15 tins no you’re right. I’ve given them out to friends and family and will also take 5 or so in to work tonight and lay them out for the guys there. Obviously that’s my choice.
Meanwhile that being said, I spent all last night batching up deliveries for food banks and I can assure you they don’t want anymore stock than they have received in the last 2 weeks. They even called me to ask me to hold off on what we were sending.
