Still only £5 in Asda and Tesco. Will almost certainly get to £4 a tin (either individually, or 2 for £8 ) before Christmas. Will wait for a better price.

Sorry OP. Voted cold when deal appeared as £5.49. Decent value for £4.49, although the usual gripe still applies about tin size getting smaller each year. Maybe there should be a system in place, whenever relevant facts change, that allow you to cancel a previous vote on a deal, then re-vote. How about it MODs?

all 3 co ops in my town show £5.50

The coop website is showing the 700g bottles, rather than the bigger tins..

Plus you have to bear in mind these tins lose on average 100g in contents each year. Just checked on an empty Quality Street tin from 3 years ago that I use as a money box: net weight 1.16 kg, gross weight 1.2 kg with wrappers.

That's almost a quarter less contents. Voted cold irrespective of price.

£5.50 at my local co-op and the one near my work.

the weight of these have dropped over the last few years, I remember when these tins were 1.2 kg inc wrappers ... they are not as good value for money as the companies try to make you think.

£5.49 in co op Cheriton

Think this is an error just been to 3 co-ops and there all £5-49p

I can only think they may have put this on by error @ Old street London or they are planning to reduce it further but has not gone nationwide yet?
