Hi, I just spotted Quality street tins are for 1.49 on tescos website and if you use 5.oo voucher code rcmvqr6pkb7q which will bring it down to 0.48p delivered, you have to search Quality street tin to find it, Bang goes the new years Diet.....lol

Thanks for your reply lilly. Sold Out in my area. I guess this deal was too hot.

I'm glad some members have been sucessful. Well done!

Me either ... hubby LOVES Quality Street! :-(

Not to be seen at my Tesco. Must be a regional offer in stores with a surplus

Why? are all products £1.49? Someone tells us about a good deal and you vote cold.

This offer appeared last week. it seems to be for certain areas only.

Offer is available for me (Tamworth) sadly I'm not going to be around for any of the £3.99 slots which is a major bummer :x

Well that was a bit mean... as the quality streets are at a very low price anyway and with the code even lower... I'm voting hot and go order some!:p

Have they expired?

I've just ordered some they are still in stock.

If you search 'quality street' rather than 'quality street tins' they appear.

Hope this helps

I guess the reason you have attracted so much attention isn't just because you displayed your cold vote for something that's hot as you are entitled to your opinion. It's because you haven't given a reason that we understand. Your quote 'You could say this about any product!" does not make any sense what so ever.

I'm sure some of us were hoping you'd reply to Crossy's post #]13 with an answer, not a statement.

I posted a similar reply in the ferrero thread and thought i should post it here as well.I Can understand where gary is coming from. The £5 voucher makes any buy from Tesco a good deal simply because you are getting the order delivered to your door and get a discount depending on the delivery cost, but i've voted this deal hot, simply because it is a hot deal, regardless of the voucher. Not available at my Tesco, but still a great deal.

I have just ordered some......yummy. Brilliant deal my kids will love them. HOT :-D

In truth the only post that was TRULY worthy of all the heat & rep was robertvan1's original post for the E-voucher itself. We now have posts saying 'buy some biscuits & get them delivered for pence', 'buy Ferrero Rocher chocs & get them delivered for pennys'...how many times are people gonna try & pick up some rep by listing one more item available for a quid & then scream 'it's a HotDeal!!!!!!' because it now costs pennies & it MAY get delivered to your door?

Over the different posts it seems like only a handful of people have thought this through.....
tonyd19565 - "It could also put the boot in for people who do not spend £20+ on groceries but like them delivered. OAP`s benefit from this type of offer and will be withdrawn if abused in such a pointless way"

lerryn - "Well I hope the biscuits taste great! What a waste of carbon!"

seancampbell - "No MOV as they charge £3.99 for delivery. -2p yet still wants credit card details.. I think I'll give this one a miss.. no point gambling on them honouring the code for the sake of some biscuits. last thing you want is to be charged the full £4.98 then have to quibble on phone to get it back."

gary_rip - "Voted cold. You could say this about any product!"

Everyone is free to do exactly what they want to with this, all I'm suggesting is to read these comments & THINK!

I agree CHARLIETHIRTYTWO,
#]19
robovan1 should always be credited for the OP as you will see from my post #]2

I don't know why you include my quote #]24 . I'd like to make it clear that with gary it's only my curiosity which prompted my post. Like I said before, he's entitled to his opinion but if anyone advertises a cold vote with a comment which I don't understand, surely it's not unreasonable for me to request elaboration.

]bazr and especialy ]CHARLIETHIRTYTWO... Spot on, you could say "this" (being the deal) about a bag of peas and say they are free! That's not a deal, the deal is the voucher! The voucher is hot!

This was not a personal attack on you, I included (part of) your post as an intro to MY points & to point out that I felt Gary's point was fairly clear.
If my ham-fisted editing made you think I was singling you out, I apologise as this was not my intention, I just wanted people to look beyond the 'herd mentality' that was running riot through these Tesco's posts.
(Glad to have your backing on making sure that credit goes to right person too)

Just ordered mine - Still live as of 15:00PM 29-1-07

]retropolis - Sorry you didnt understand it - but it seems most (some) people did! It made sense to me, all i was saying is that anything can be a deal if you take £5 off!

Edit: Looking back even ]Crossy understood it.

Dont be suprised when they arrive you get charged the regular price.....I was and now trading Standards are involved and it could even turn into a criminal offence for tesco according to trading standards

Using these vouchers on such a small order is asking for trouble!

Thanks Charlie, I didn't feel singled out so no offence taken. I just wanted to make sure that everyone knows I'm not having a pop at gary. I know he's done a lot of good work on this forum.

I genuinely agree where you're coming from with your post!

Retropolis - I think I'm right in saying that no one minds if there is a bit of a debate going on, that's all in the spirit of HUKD and Forums in general - its when it turns nasty and there is name calling that its not on. I'm happy for anyone to question what i say, i know I'm not always right.

When I'm at work i do tend to give short and to the point answers, and late at night i normally give argumentative answers but generally all the other time there kinda nice/constructive. :-D

Thanks for clarifying your position and i hope (with the help of others +rep) I have clarified my opinion.

Edit: Also thanks for saying "I know he's done a lot of good work on this forum." - I like to think ive saved (made people spend) a few pounds!

When things are unbelievable they are normally not true!

Btw folks, you can't use this code twice on your account, so i've included 2 tins in my order as it only comes to £1.97 for two

£0.48 for one tin
£1.97 for two tins

£1.49 more for a second tin seems like a great deal to me

I appreciate the comments!

HDUK is a great forum and I'm glad that the majority of members are civil and considerate.
