Sainsbury's offers start on Wednesday's, that's why this offer wouldn't have been showing in store yesterday.

was over 1kg last year, nearly 20% less contents so 20% more expensive than last year. Are these made by British gas?

These haven't been priced at £9.99 at all this year, only £5 or less. Might have been the larger tin you were looking at as there are 2 sizes this year.

Rip-off Britain in full effect, the disdain the multi-nationals have for the UK public is disgusting, austerity cuts everywhere but food, fuel, utilities & media costs are increasing at well above inflation

The ones in the UK are made by Nestle and the tins have shrunk.
Recently I went to Dubai and the Quality Street tins over there are the old 1kg size and are actually made by the original license holder, Mackintosh

You do know Mackintosh is just a brand name owned & used by Nestle.
