Are you sure they're the big tins?

This deal should be red hot really, it is pretty much the same as Morrisons doing two 700g tubs for £7. The only difference here is you can only have Quality Street, and it is a tin and not a tub :-)

no they're not, these are metal tins, with more in them

Yup, this tin is bigger. Was in stafford tesco yesterday and the plastic tubs were £4, and they are now £5 in sainsburys. Saw the big tins but didnt spot the price.

The £4 & £5 deals are for tubs with around 750-800g in them so at 2 for £8 they still work out cheaper

Tesco currently have 780g Quality Street for £4 so that's 51p/100g

This deal works out at 53p/100g

It is therefore cheaper to buy 2 tubs than 1 tin

Not really as the tubs are 780g so 2 for £7 is considerably cheaper at 38p/100g rather than 53p/100g offered by this deal
......even if they were 700g tubs they would still work out cheaper than this deal at 50p/100g

It's two for £7 not 3.

NBEB

It's two for £7 not 3.

Typo the price per 100grams is based on 2 for £7

Plus you can mix and match, I'd rather have a QS and a celebrations for example.
