My local library has been turned into flats. ;-)

Men's Health is available free of charge as an e-magazine. Access via your local library and their Zinio subscription.

Totally agree Fatal Exeption, I mean £3.99 a mag and about £5 quid for 8oz rumps each and get 10 steaks and 11 mags for £22 all in....... mad this being cold..... nonsense :)

I'm not sure why this is so cold, it seems like a great deal. The magazine is cheaper than it would be to buy and you get meat. MEAT!

To be fair it was a neat little hamper not really worth £45 but at least 30ish in my opinion but they arrived in a nice swanky chilled box and were pretty fresh and seasoned and comes with some muscle food diet plan and the best ways to cook the meat too. I still have some in my freezer as we speak :)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS: This offer is available for UK subscriptions only (excluding BFPO addresses) and closes 3 December 2013. This offer is available by Direct Debit only. *After your first 6 issues your subscription will continue at the low rate of £15 every 6 issues – saving you 37% off the full price. The full UK subscription rate is £48 for 12 issues. In order to become an ELLE: THE CLUB member you must register at www.elleuk.com/theclub. You will need your subscriber number which will be detailed in your order acknowledgement email.

If you go to terms and conditions you select Elle and it gives you the contract details. I could be completely wrong probably am just don't want anyone to be caught out.

It didn't say it was a 12 month contract anywhere I could see though.

It says the 12 month contract is non refundable so I guess they would cancel it after 6 months but still charge you the £15 for the next 6 months.

I want this.. I hope you can cancel after 6 months though.

Hi All, just emailed to cancel the subcription, got an email back saying that I would have to do the whole 12 months, I emailed back quoting the offer saying it was for 6 months renewing after that period. Just received an email saying they have excepted my notice and cancelled my DD. I have cancelled my DD too with my bank. I think they will try to get you to do the year unless you push it. Good luck all!

I've just cancelled the direct debit for the magazine subscription. Do I still need to phone them?

Manager phoned today and agree she would cancel the subscription if I returned the free gift. Thank goodness its a freepost address.

http://thevintagecosmeticcompany.co.uk/product-category/vintage-all-products/page/2/ They only have 3 small pages of items in their whole store and have been giving products away for subscriptions.

Of course it can. High-end products are expensive. Eg, Tweezerman tweezers = £22+ Expert lashes = £10+ You just have to appreciate it to know it's worth it.
