Good quality low saps oil, perfect as I needed oil specs VW 50700 AND BMW Long-life04 for two different cars

Multibuy x2 £23.73 each

Volume: 5L

Industry Standards - ACEA: C3

Manufacturer Specifications Approved: VW 504 00, VW 507 00, BMW Longlife-04

Meets the Specification: MB 229.31 and 229.51

Quantum LongLife III 5W-30 fully synthetic engine oil is formulated to keep engines and exhaust after-treatment devices, especially diesel particulate filters, free from deposits. Prolonging the life of these components reduces running costs, minimises emissions and protects the environment. Quantum LongLife III 5W-30 is suitable for gasoline and diesel vehicles where Volkswagen performance specifications 504 00 and 507 00 are required. Quantum LongLife III 5W-30 also meets the requirements of most of the earlier Volkswagen oil specifications which means that it is suitable also for many older gasoline and diesel engines. Quantum Long Life III has now been approved to BMW Long-life04 approvals, whilst also meeting MB specifications 229.31 and MB 229.51.

My A3 uses this spec oil but purchased the Shell Helix Ultra AG deal from carpartssaver eBay advertised on here for 18.99. Although not stated, it is VW 507 spec
Voted hot but that was before I read the SDS, it is another hydrocracked mineral oil base and not a true synthetic oil.

Read section 3.2

I spoke at length with a mechanic about this as I wasn't aware but UK legislation means they can call this fully synthetic but in Germany that can't!

I ended up going for this as it is a true synthetic opieoils.co.uk/p-8…spx

Usually available from VW for£25.
I usually buy standard vw oil from dealer for 16 £ each including tax But if a fool puts this in his engine and drives for 7 or more thousand miles congratulations you just keep digging a quick grave for your engine Even the lads from vw said the same thing they don't understand why people trust this that there can be a miracle oil..But they are not allowed to say anything if a customer wants to pay more then let him do it.. Seriously stupid DEAL

You should check actual wear after a thousand miles! There is on YouTube a guy that tested LoAdS of oils and believe me the results were shocking.... I am sure there was an English translation on bottom as well because it was in Russian if my memory serves me well.
Hmm a no name oil brand at a bit particular fabulous price, think I'll skip that.
£15.99 from TPS
This use to be made by Castrol but is now Fuchs.

Not voted either way, personally use Shell 0w-30 which was £32.50 for 5L on ECP. From what i've been reading Audi dealers use it as their standard now.
