Amazing price

Prefer the black version at £9.49. Heat from me

Interesting. I don't have Prime but still got offered "free one day delivery" at no extra charge.

Does anyone have experience with this brand? Is it reliable / does it have good support like Anker? I'd rather pay double for something that lasts 5 years, vs something that breaks after a year or two.

TeckNet is a known brand. I've got a few of their products and they are good.
I can't comment on longevity or how it compares to Anker but I'm sure it'll be fine.

Thanks for the feedback. It can be hard to trust amazon reviews for products like this, when so many of them may be paid reviews. I have heard of TekNet, but I haven't tried their products, and it's always good to get feedback from actual users.

You're wright, most comments with 3 or less stars indicate problem with the device getting hot...

Yes, I saw that too, and it looked quite worrying! I think I will give it a miss, since I'm not in desperate need at the moment.

I can't recommend Tecknet highly enough. I bought a portable charger around 4 years ago and it's still going strong. Ended up giving to our daughter and buying a more powerful one.

I have had this for about a year and it has been great, no heating issues and the fast charge is good

I purchased the Anker version of this and felt like a right w Anker. It broke after about 3 months. 1 port failed, then 2 then 3. Now only one port is functional. Junk. I will likely purchase this one.

Had one of these since Nov 2014, been used every day since and had no problems.

Prefer the black one for 50p more but why are the RRP's different? They are the exact same model right?

is this any good or better than anker ones in that case ??

If a much larger quantity of one colour is made and sold then usually the production costs of each unit are less and therefore it has a lower rrp price than a different colour that is produced in smaller quantities even though it's still the same model of product.

I was literally on the verge of paying for this, had it in my basket, the delivery address was sorted, the delivery slot was selected, then I don't know what possessed me and I started reading these comments..........

I sent my one back, voltage kept dropping when I charged 2 tablets at the same time

Price increased now £10.99 for white and £9.99 for Black.
