Christmas Bonus event
Terms and conditions
Overview
All information detailing how to enter this promotion forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the entrant agrees to abide by these rules. Opting into the promotion will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The information given in these Terms and Conditions is correct, but Quidco reserve the right to change any of the below without prior notice.
The duration of the promotion is from 00:00:00 on 3 Nov 2014 to 23:59:59 on 24 Dec 2014.
Participation in the promotion is by opting in and making purchases online at Bonus event retailers. A full list of participating retailers is available on the Christmas Rewarding Event page (http://www.quidco.com/christmas/bonus-event/).
Upon opting in different bonus tiers will be set for members to unlock. These will only become payable once the purchase requirements to unlock the bonus have been met.
Where a retailer offers In-store and receipt upload cashback, purchases made via these methods will not be eligible for bonus cashback unless expressly stated.
Purchases made via the Quidco Compare part of the site will not be eligible.
If a user has not opted in and makes a purchase at a participating retailer they will not be eligible for a bonus nor will the purchase count towards the total purchases needed to unlock their bonus payments.
The cashback from purchases made at participating retailers remain unchanged. The regular cashback will be added to user's main Activity table. And members will be able to see a bonus icon next to these transactions.
All bonus amounts are a flat sum. Purchasing at 6 Bonus Retailers will unlock = £6, purchasing at a total of 9 Bonus Retailers will unlock the £25 level and 12 Bonus Retailers will unlock the full £50 . For the avoidance of doubt, you will receive £6 for transactions a 6 different bonus retailers. This will be topped up to by £19 to £25 when you do a further 3 transactions. And then topped up to the full £50 when you transact at 12 bonus retailers. Multiple transactions at one participating retailer do not count. This will account for one bonus transaction. You will also not earn the bonus amounts in incremental amounts. i.e. you will not receive £1 for each transaction up to that first 6 retailer target – the total 6 need to be achieved to unlock the one cash bonus.
Participating retailers can be identified on the Rewarding Bonus Event homepage, or by Bonus event icons (the blue present) on the retailer listings, and retailer pages and promotional placements.
The user must make the required number purchases, each at a different participating retailer in order for each bonus level to be payable. For the avoidance of doubt, two transactions at the same retailer will only count as one transaction from the participating retailer in the Rewarding Bonus Event.
Until the user makes purchases at 6 participating retailers the cashback bonus will remain locked and will not be payable to the user. The bonus will become payable after purchases are made at the required number of participating retailers.
The bonus will be payable when all the participating retailers have confirmed all the sales to be genuine (confirmed status) and as such member’s payouts will be aligned with the confirmation periods of the individual retailers involved.
Following the end of the promotion the user will be able to access information about their bonus cashback on their Quidco activity page. All purchases subject to a bonus will identified on that page by a Rewarding Bonus event icon.
Should a purchase at a participating retailer be declined before that transaction will be deducted from the users transaction total. If this also reduces the users valid purchases below the required targets then the bonus will become unpayable.
Tracking and payment of regular cashback is subject to the usual tracking, payment and claims processes outlined in the Quidco Account Holder Agreement.
Should a purchase not track the user is required to contact the Quidco Support team to raise a claim and request that the bonus purchase be added to their total.
If a member has to raise a claim , your bonus will not be confirmed until the claim is approved.
Quidco shall not be responsible for lost connections, miscommunications, failed computer transmissions or technical failures. Proof of submission is not proof of receipt.
Uses of personal data received by Quidco in the course of the promotion are subject to Quidco's data protection policy.
There are no alternatives to the bonus cashback stated and they are not transferable. Quidco reserves the right to change the bonus cashback offered at any time.
There is a £50 maximum limit to the cash bonus one member can earn. By unlocking the first £6 of your bonus, you then have the potential to unlock a total of £44 more, the £6 is not cumulatively added to the other targets.
A member cannot open multiple Quidco accounts to achieve multiple bonuses.
Quidco reserve the right to remove any account holders from the promotion that they feel may breach any of these terms and conditions or may bring the entrant or the competition into disrepute. Any bonus cashback accumulated will be deemed as void.
Any decision made by Quidco is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Is this for all Quidco members or just prime? I'm going to cancel my prime next week as paying £5 doesn't seem to give a lot of benefit.

Your not really paying £5 though, it comes out your Cashback. Anyway they always used to charge it without choice.

I find it handy to have to get preferential support when it goes pear shaped.

Good work, Op, and heat added.

I'll get right onto it as soon as I've finished Tolstoy's War and Peace. X)

I hope it's the non-translated version

This should be easy with christmas coming up

No doubt will hit the £50 but £25 is a given

look in detail and its a shame that the vast majority of cashback websites people use regualrly arent included. theres maybe 3 or 4 high street names but rest arent the best

is there a minimum spend?

This is online only I guess or does it include any clicksnap purchases ?

Doesn't mention anything in the T&Cs for the bonus event, just check the terms of the cashback rates for the participating retailers,as you normally would.

You have to spend twice that amount in total. So for example to get that £50, you have to have spent £100 in total

In other words, you ARE paying £5

This wasn't in the terms and conditions when they originally came out with this deal and have sneakily added this in. Hopefully they will still honour the original deal as managed to spend less than £10 to get the 12 boxes (and hopefully the £50). If not a complaints going into live chat.

'Until the user makes purchases at 6 participating retailers the cashback bonus will remain locked and will not be payable to the user. The bonus will become payable after purchases are made at the required number of participating retailers and the user's total spend at bonus retailers is twice that bonus amount. For the avoidance of doubt to unlock a £6 bonus a user must spend at least £12 at the 6 participating retailers used to unlock the tier 1 bonus of £6, £50 at the 9 retailers used to unlock the tier 2 bonus of £25 and £100 at the 12 retailers used to unlock the tier 3 bonus of £50.

Here is a deal which will help you to cross off one of the boxes for nothing

I have just this min unlocked the £50 bonus by completing the 12 shops. Everything tracked so far so hopefully all gets confirmed ok and eventually pays out

even claims go through incase it doesn't track. really good retailers on there. expecially when your Xmas shopping anyway. I have 11 so far.

Posted ages ago but yes cracking deal!

Those t's and c's are as clear as mud!

Last years was best.. got about £180 of stuff free

I've spent well over £100 Xmas shopping to unlock mine but a cheap one I found is to reserve and collect a Hotwheels car for £1.49 at Halfords

Wait for something cheap or that you want to go on a daily deal, they all have free delivery.

Had a couple that haven't tracked so far like Rakuten and Moonpig, very frustrating.

must be my local store, bloody useless

Last time I'd ordered somat it took 35 mins and they had ther damn thing next to the counter on offer

Managed to get mine done for a bit over £100 - hunting through the relative sites for free P&P where possible and then picking their cheapest items for just a couple of quid (anyone want a big wall calendar from Ebuyer that cost 99p delivered!? hehe) unless there was actual stuff I wanted. All seems to have tracked OK.

Sorry had to like this just for your picture phwooooar !!!

Anyone got any other tips for retailers with free postage or free click and collect? I've unlocked 7, but I've got a feeling my Argos one won't track (was a faster payment one, so I guess it will count under reserve and collect and be declined), and I've already done all the ones where I wanted something, so I might need to do another 6?

Depends which ones you've done already.
I did ebuyer and got a 99p calendar delivered free though looking on the site it's now reduced to 2p but not free P&P
Reebok do free delivery on everything and looking in Men's section they have stuff from £2.10
Adidas also have free delivery, again things starting from no more than £2
Matalan do free Click n Collect
Zalando do free P&P

Thanks, I've spent well over the £100 anyway, getting stuff I wanted. I've already done Ebuyer and Matalan, but I'll take a look at the others you suggested - thanks!
