Can we have a chart based on what Free, Old Premium and New Premium members are getting?

Old Premium members in my opinion are getting the same rates as Free members and there is no incentive to those still on the £5 paid annual membership.

If Old-Premium members are not getting anything above a Free members rates, then the £5 should be refunded, Quidco are ripping off the loyal paying members that built them up

It’s only for people signing up to new Premium plan (£1 per month) . Existing yearly premium customers are NOT ELIGIBLE for boost . Not fair tbh 👎

You can see a chart comparing the new premium to basic here. The boosted cashback rates are a benefit of being on the new premium membership, but those who are on the older premium still are not losing any benefits. Historically cashback rates were the same for all members, and the topped up rates are only a recent addition for our newer membership. If you're on the older premium still, you'll still be getting the same benefits that you're used to.
Old premium will be automatically upgraded in January I think I read

What benefits RIGHT now do old-premium members get over FREE memberships?

Anybody on the older premium will automatically upgrade to the newer premium when their renewal date arrives, but it's possible to upgrade sooner if you want to take advantage of the extra benefits right away. You can do this on your account settings page here.

The benefits are exactly the same, and have not changed. You'll still get a top up on your withdrawals and an ad-free experience, for example. The cashback rates for older premium members and the basic free membership are the same - just as they always have been. Premium members never had topped up cashback rates before, this is exclusively a feature for the newer premium.

Anyway to get a pro-rata refund on our £5 fee if we upgraded part way through the year to new Premium?

So I was right, Old premium members get nothing more than a free member for cashback rates, without the odd advert and the odd extra percent when withdrawing (which I question as well)… Quidco have truly robbed Old-premium members on this good and proper.

My advise, wait out the Ad-free experience (after all that's all you are getting) and go back down to FREE the moment it expires.
Thanks Quidco, you really don't give a monkey about the members that got you here.

Yeah, that's the conclusion I was coming to, I find TCB is better for 90% of the merchants I use anyway.

It's a shame, as I've been a premium member of quidco pretty much since they started premium and I've had over £3k cashback from them over the years.
Although I've kept my premium membership in more recent years mainly through historical loyalty to them, even though TCB has usually been better for the last 5 or 6 years. But the change in fee structure is likely to be the shove to move me off Quidco to TCB, unless the new premium rates are significantly higher than the competition all the time (rather than on the odd exceptional black Friday promo period)
Premium rates outside of current promo for today and tomorrow are open to a 10% increase...so 10% increase on cashback...I’ve received over £12000 since 2007 but most of that was gathered in my first 6-7 years membership. I’ve upgraded but doubt it will be worth it outside of Black Friday or similar events....we will see. I’ll stick with Quidco simply because I’ve had problems with TCB but Quidco have nearly always sorted everything out for me.

£12K cashback over 12 years...
assuming 8% cashback on average, that's equivalent to £150k spend that's equivalent to £1000 spend a month...... you're sir one of the top spender.....
There were a few bonus payouts in there and I did frequently buy from Dell for a business...so around £1500 a month but don’t do that now....hence the drop.

We have made £10k+ in 8 years.

Mainly from gambling/bingo/casino bonuses back in the day. Lots of £30/£40/£50 cashback bonuses on £10 wagers. Most wagers were based on a 50/50 win so net loss over time has averaged out at £0. Life insurance bonuses are also good.

Broadband/landline/mobile/car insurance/home insurance/gas&electricity cashback bonuses can be in the hundreds of £s and seeing as we diarise to switch the above on an annual basis you can see how it all adds up very quickly.

Agreed bit of a farce the number of ‘deals’ just because the company says it is becoming insane
Yes, 50% cashback increase sitewide is very misleading!
So what will the Currys cash back rate be?
Quidco can boost it by 1000% - but if they don't pay out it's still 0%.
To be clear on a few points on our new Premium membership, just in case there is any confusion.

It’s not just for new members it’s available for immediate upgrade for all existing members too.

Over this Black Friday weekend the new Premium members have seen a benefit of double cashback top up rates. From today, they are enjoying a 50% top up rate (T&C’s apply) that ends midnight on Cyber Monday.

Outside of the above promotions, members can enjoy up to 10% topped-up rates.

The main reason we think our members will love the new Premium membership is that it gives them ‘flexibility’

This means that you can downgrade to the free basic membership whenever you want and it’s effective immediately, however if you feel you wish to take advantage of higher rates and great promotions you can just upgrade immediately.
Felipe.Lopes01/12/2019 16:14

An example of their 50% deal would be 5% x 50% extra is 7.5% as in the increase with Samsung cashback.
So 6% x 50% would be 9% cashback
bailey8701/12/2019 19:42

So what will the Currys cash back rate be?

This depends on the item purchased, but the minimum cashback would be 7.5%. There's loads of item specific cashback rates for Curry's, for example 22.5% on FitBits. You can see the full list of rates under the heading 'online cashback rates' here. If you're a new premium member, you can log in and see that these rates are live now!
