Just signed up for this since my Sky Broadband goes up to £18.99 in 3 weeks after being £11 on retention deal.
It has £100 Quidco Cashback plus a free sim for making free calls (200 mins) Texts (Unlimited) and Data (500mb) worth £5 a month.
I worked it out at £240 for the year (Fixed) -£100 Quidco and -£60 (£5 a month sim freebie) equates to the broadband and line rental being just £80 for the year (£6.67 a month)!

Sorry. Made a right hash of that! All sorted now
Personally I think it should be £11.67 for up to 17mb broadband, don't think u should take the freebie out of the price most people wouldn't use the sim anyway I wouldn't think + you can get 4gb data 600mins and unlimited text for equivalent of 5.25 elsewhere with tcb, I suppose it's not a terrible deal for £11.67 if you only use Internet for browsing. in my area I can only get 7-9mb on that connection which is not good enough for the things I do. (keep it clean with the jokes please!)

i suppose the total price is on the title so it don't really matter about your equation, soz
Talktalk are terrible, I wouldn't have this if it was free, seriously.
Would rather go with Sky as a new customer @ £9.50 a month, with the possibility of cashback from qc or tcb
Sim shouldn't be taken off as you aren't getting that money back, unless you are actually going to swap it for what you have now.

Sky would be £124 for a year, with possibly £40 cashback, would equate to £7 a month for a far better service.
Just sign up with a different surname and banking details if you aren't a new customer
£16.67(after Cashback) for 38mb aswell but that will be fixed for 24months

i was on Sky broadband a few years back and it switched over and was then run by talktalk, they switched me automatically and gave me a year free sky TV, line rental, calls, and new sky box. so are they not talktalk anymore?

also I think the sky £9.50 deal was 3months ago, all I can find now is £18.99 a month with £9.95 set up

If you go for it don't use that link, get the code from mse, clear cookies, click through from qc or tcb, then paste this link into your browser sky.com/sho…ode and you should get the cashback, if you use the one from either here or MSE they will get the commission instead
thanks, your comments should help others but I was just commenting not looking for deal, even the 38mb fibre doesn't equal or better my current plusnet even with the £1 line rental increase really, I'm paying £26 for 76mb
OP - thanks for sharing. I am on Sky too and deal running out at the end of June. Is talktalk really that bad? Just the broadband element seems a bargain £20pm x 12 mnths = £240 - £100 Quidco = £140 for the year.
This is about £11.66 per month. Since Ive had no issues with sky - wouldnt the servce be the same with any other provider ie Talktalk?
The cashback for Fiberoptic is £70 and therefor would work out to just less than £20 pm for the basic fibre option.
Please, if anyone has any experience then I would appreciete a reply - especially if anyone can suggest a better deal.

Hi Pill,
If you wanted the Fibre deal, Use Top Cashback rather than Quidco as it is showing £105 on the 24 month £25 Fibre plus free set up
