Quorn big bag chicken nuggets 476g £0.75

Was in the frozen section with a white label, went on the website and it says no longer available so possibly selling all existing stock, was marked up with a white tag at 75p fair to say I bought a few bags as the smaller ones are usually around £2/£3

I have cut back on meat for health reasons rather than ethical and Quorn is great, these are great and the sausages and sausage rolls.

I say, either eat meat or don't bother, don't bother trying to eat … I say, either eat meat or don't bother, don't bother trying to eat something that is a replica of meat with 100 unknown ingredients to make it resemble a piece of meat. I tried quorn once and thought "thank god I'm not vegetarian!"

Or why not eat something more proteinaceous than exploited, deformed, diseased chickens?

So, top tip - as they're not to your taste, probably best not to buy them. You're not out the dough on something you don't like and people who do have more to buy.
Everyone's a winner!

I think they've changed the packaging so they must be clearing out old stock. Good price if you can find it.

And not a single 'why do you want something that looks like chicken' … And not a single 'why do you want something that looks like chicken' comments you get EVERY TIME a quorn deal is posted. Or 'it's fungus'Must be a record!

Haha I know I get those questions from mates and work colleagues haha
Hmm I've been wanting to try these..

you have to ask yourself why you are bothered? how is your life affected whether people eat meat, quorn or anything else for that matter?
Prefer the southern style ones myself, but still like the normal ones, heat added op

How can you have meat free chicken nuggets, isn't that an oxymoron or something?

As a carnivore I prefer these to the real "meat" ones
Was in tesco today, didn't have any of these on offer at all
Love these. I hope my local has some as I'll be bulk buying!

If you like meat free sausage rolls, try these Tesco Veg Sausage Rolls. I had to dig the packet out of the bin to make sure they were veggie as they tasted so much like the real thing! They happen to be vegan too.

Above link doesn't seem to work but it's this one: tesco.com/gro…256

then how would someone know what they taste like without first trying them.
I would think it obvious I won't be buying them......duh!! Just giving my opinion of product as a previous purchaser.

The ingredients are on the packet love!
Sadly not at the Greenstead tesco's Colchester
Plenty of these still left in the Mansfield Oak Tree store. I just picked up a couple of bags.
I like them but don't understand how they can get away with calling them chicken nuggets.

Sure they used to be just called quorn nuggets.

I think it's down to the huge range they sell now

Tidied this up; can we keep this thread free on insults, bickering, arguing etc? Thanks
These nuggets taste great. I eat meat, albeit small amounts, and I can honestly say these are perfectly tasty.

They're now 20p per bag. Can't beat that for a freezer filler, if you like nuggets.

unless you're buying top-end free range chicken products, they usually have a bunch of dodgy ingredients anyway, so the "you know what's what with chicken" thing doesn't really hold up.
