good to know

I'm genuinely surprised they still sell this stuff. I tried quorn years ago and have to say its the most disgusting food I've tried.

I tried it the other night. the mince tastes like a Dunlop tyre.

This is mince

tastes fine cooked with spices and a tin of tomatoes! thanks op greatr for a vegetarian who is visiting tomorrow.

why? is this a good deals site or a good foods site? for those that have never tried a product then others opinions and often very valuable, and wasting £3 on something you might not like, enjoy or even make you ill is not that good a deal.
Myself i never voted it hot or cold.

They've been selling Quorn products for a long time now so they must be doing something right, the mince is great.

If people knew how Quorn was made they wouldn't eat it.

I have never eaten a Dunlop tyre but now I know it tastes like Quorn mince I won't bother. Any one know what Goodyear tyres taste like?

So it's your opinion that other peoples opinion should be kept to themselves. Try your own advice.

Real vegetarians cook from scratch and don't eat industrially processed slime mould.

Haha thats like saying real meat eaters start with a whole chicken or meat joint. No they buy frozen bits of mashed chicken with water and additives covered in breadcrumbs. I love quorn and wouldn't manage without it. Farmfoods have had this offer for months but a good reminder or for people who don't usually shop at Farmfoods. HOT HOT HOT

As a non-vegetarian, I really enjoy quorn. Obviously if you have it without spices then it will taste as bland as anything else, learn to cook. This as a deal however, I'd wait until the £1 per bag deals come back (if and when they do). They have previously been in Morrisons for £1 a bag, I think standard prices are nearing the £2 mark.

Good one, how many Michelin stars do you have, and when did we vote you the leader of all 'real' vegetarians? How big is your farm? Oh you buy from the market? Wait I wonder what they do there? Grow things on an industrial scale with machinery and chemicals? Oh you buy organic? Better check the UK rules on what qualifies as organic food!

N.B. Both my parents are Vegan. They buy things from the supermarket, my dad has an allotment... unfortunately they both have jobs and lives and can't live Amish.

Yes, I guess you are right, they must be doing something (right or wrong). However, I do think its only fair to enlighten certain people who prefere the taste and texture of real food....who might actually otherwise waste their money trying this product like I did.
