Great spot. Heat added. Does anyone know if the Quorn Roasts still exist. I can't find them in any of my local supermarkets

Does this taste like chickan lol

I've seen it in Waitrose

Stanmore Sainsburys do not ever seem to have these in stock when on offer

Sainsbury's had put the quorn roast up at £1.50 on sale about a month back. may be that was there way of clearing what ever stock they have.
sure to come back closer to christmas

Hmmm...
The last couple of times that people have posted this for £1 it's reached 200°-300°
I post it for 83p and it only gets to 73° ... I don't understand this site sometimes

Great deal, thanks for posting! It certainly deserves more heat.

Are these Free Range chicken style pieces?
X)

Absolutely not. Disgusting fungus pieces. Good deal on a rare to like item.

I prefer this stuff to chicken.

The chilled variants are also on 3 for £5 if you prefer those.

Absolutely not. They taste more-or-less like chicken to me - especially when mixed with some kind of sauce, I make "chicken" pies with them and everyone in the house love them. With the majority of them being non-vegetarian.

I think it's not exactly like chicken, but not in a bad way. If you're going in expecting it to be chicken and will automatically hate it if it's anything else, then this will not be suitable for you. However, if you're slightly open minded and willing to experiment with it a bit, then you'll find it's a great product.

HOT!! LOVE both of those, I use the chicken ones in fajitas/pastas and the mince in chilli/spaghetti bolognaise. Shame there's no Sainsbury's in my town

voted hot, this will make the wife happy

me neither, you see something at 100+ with little or no feedback for some offer posted from a tv / press advert, yet where people have actually found a deal it n=has little or no heat even good offers,

make you wonder on the %

ps heat added!

I wish they'd make more quorn stuff without eggs. They'd open up a market of a whole lot more people!!!

PS. Nice find

What ****.

You've just worded it in a bad way to try and back up your claim. You could easily describe chicken as "Disgusting deceased animal carcass", doesn't make it true though.

It's not rare to like at all. I know plenty of meat eaters who like the chicken pieces. Actually, I haven't met anyone who doesn't.

These are perfect for people on low fat diets who like meat, like those with serious heart problems as well as vegetarians obviously.

We're neither but still buy when on offer as it makes a tasty alternative and a very cheap meal!!

Great find, thank you!

I love meat and I enjoy these - the "MIL"'s Quorn curry is *amazing* and I actually like them in enchiladas better than something like turkey, for example.

HOT! This is a good deal, Sainsbury's usually has the best deal around for Quorn anyway as they are usually 3 for £5, but this is even better! Hope they stay this price for a while

Funny you should mention enchiladas, that's the thing I cooked for meat eating friends and they agreed it was excellent.

Yum this stuff is lovely! Will stock up later
