Mmm, yummy, particularly diced and added to pizza.

Kids love chicken nuggets but love these even more. Always pestering me to buy them.

Who's kids are going to eat this rubbish. If I gave this to my kids they would throw it back at me.

This deal is for nuggets? Did you not see the title?

the last time these were on offer i must have got a dodgy bag as they were disgusting. The 2nd bag i bought weren't too bad, edible. Oh, and I am normally a fan of Quorn stuff (but not a veggie)

You said about the disgusting Quorn nuggets 'Beats feeding the kids, bum holes, love poles and eye holes'

Why would I eat bum holes, love poles and eye holes?

You are doing a good job of backing up my statement that *most* vegetarians are morons.

You ain't going to save the world so give up.

the eggs used to bind the fungus are free range, smart ass.

Well this thread has quite amazed me.

Never thought people who clearly have the intelligence to monitor/use/post on this forum would show such ignorance.

Making irrational statements about….
a) a food stuff that they proberly have not (and would not?) tried
b) the lifestyle/appearance of vegetarians

And proberly the most surprising, assuming that only vegetarians eat these.

Do these people ONLY eat meat??? Do they not eat ANY vegetables/fruit/nuts/mushrooms etc??? I assume they do – so maybe they should consider themselves at least a partial veggie?

Just goes to show that intelligence and ignorance can co-exist!!!!

I have always wondered why the term ‘vegetarian’ has a negative impact to some people – as though it is a weird lifestyle choice. And they may feel threatened in some way (could they feel quilty because of the way some animals are treated??).

And no – I am not a vegetarian - I do eat fish and mostly white meat. And all sorts of vegitables and Quorn! Oh – and I do not have any body piercings!

Back to the post. Voted hot – I love them – in fact all the Quorn products EXCEPT the non-chicken style burgers (the dark coloured ones) – I find those dry and tasteless.

I suppose she is saying you don't know what you are getting in some cheap meat.

It's good to lay off the red meat now and again for your own health.

Nothing like having some principles, up the veggies!

Chill lads and ladettes..

As a chicken nugget subsitute these are quite good, just make sure you have lots of tom or bbq sauce at the ready.

I'm a meat eater, less is veggie. I'm much perfer to eat these than a McD's one.

Ok, your right i am a moron, but why are you GUESSING i am a vegetarian? I might just not eat cheap meat food stuffs, such as chicken nuggets. And on a seperate note my husband often calls me supergirl, when i put the outfit on, so i was actually under the impression that i could save the world? Please don't say he was lying to me??!!

These taste like normal chicken nuggets, which don't taste anything like chicken anyway, and are cheaper. Win win in my eyes.

Granted they are made of fungus created in giant vats but at least they aren't "mechanically reclaimed" as most real chicken nuggets are, but tbh I would eat either as I'm not too bothered what my food is made of.

that's the phrase that scares me when i read it on the back on a product: "mechanically reclaimed"

or the other warning phrase for me is "made in an EU approved facility"

stay away!

i agree with this post. i love meat, including the junk you get from kfc and mcd's, no horror stories can put me off what i love eating, but at the same time i love healthy food and quorn products are brilliant also, especially when there is an offer on like so. hot from me. will be buying bags of these alongside 4 jumbo lincolnshire sausages from the hot deli counter.

Good deal voted hot. For all veggies and even non veggies you should try the realeat nuggets I prefer them to these but I can only seem to find them in some H&B's.

Good price, they pretty much taste like any other frozen chicken nuggets, granted they hardly have any meat in them anyway.

I liked these before I became vegetarian but I usually don't eat much fake meat because there are sooo many other great things out there but great for non-veggies and veggies alike!

Whorny123;7868231

you havent had a chicken nugget that tastes like chicken?! do you only eat Tesco Value and McDonalds?! go make some real food, made with real meat. NOT PROCESSED!

Well I like chicken.

And I like Quorn.

But which is better?? FIGHT!!

Sigh.

More meat eaters sublimating guilt by criticizing vegetarians again I see.

Ok.

]I will paste again:Rather than repeat myself I will answer this … ]I will paste again:Rather than repeat myself I will answer this perennial question by pasting a previous reply, from a previous quorn deal.cheapo: This argument that 'I don't understand why they make vegetarian food look like meals that have meat in' is so f'ing stupid.Ok, when was the last time you saw a pig made up of cylindrical sausages? How about a cow comprised of pasties? Ooh mummy, look at that chicken, its like a nugget with wings! There is no monopoly on certain shapes of foodstuff having to have dead animal in them. Did I miss an 11th commandment?Sausages, pies, pasties, rolls, are all man made constructs to hold food. It doesn't have to be meat. They are mere vessels to present food in a convenient manner. Just because a vegetarian decides not to eat meat does not mean they have to throw out every other convention including shape and portion size. We do not do it because we are secretly salivating over meat. We do it out of convenience. Now you have the exception. There are cuts of meat that vegetarians try and replicate, like bacon for instance. So the argument would have more weight there. But, even bacon is a modification of the meat as it fits on the pig. The rashers do not peel off individually, they have to be cut and shaped in a way that is convenient and pleasing to the eater. What is wrong with making the shape of food palatable? My next book will be 'Beef crisps: why do they try and make them taste like beef when they have no meat in them?' What shape and taste would you like my food to be until you shut up, and go back to ploughing your way through thousands of slaughtered sentient beings (you know them things that have babies in fields, and live like families until you decide that you want a lamb kebab), even though most on here would not dream of actually killing the things themselves.Since when do chicken pieces look like chickens? They don't, they look like small portions palatable for human being. Do you rebel against cheese & onion pasties in the same way because the ones you like have beef in?When people stop making that facile argument 'why do they do it, if they don't want to eat meat', then I will stop pasting my previous reply.Boring!

Also my reply to LuckyL ]here.

Hot deal btw!

Been veggie for 15 years. Run 20-25 miles a week. Ride a bike. Play Badminton. Like a nice beer, and love Remy Martin brandy, with a nice Cuban cigar. I generally just have fun and enjoy life. It is just I made a personal decision that at this moment in history, in our civilized world, the breeding and slaughtering of animals for my edification is not needed. Most of my friends think otherwise, and that's fine.

Tend your own garden.

Mcdonalds nuggets are 100% chicken, i know which one I would rather go for:whistling:

I've never tried Quorn can anyone describe the taste?

Rayhul

Try them - 98p not a lot to lose and quite a lot to gain if you like them!.

Eat with an open mouth and an open mind! Grill/cook then the same way.

MacDs made with 100% chicken? - all reclaimed meat is still 100%!!! I also know which I would go for - Can you guess:whistling:

McD nuggets taste great and quorn quite bland. I can see why a meat lover would have a distinct preferance. Kid's won't notice any difference - I mash cauliflower into their mash and they are still yet to notice!

I love these!! Some quorn products are awfully dry but these are lovely! HOT.
