wow this must only be the real big stores?

Pretty good in comparison to some of the classic sweets sites, A Quarter Of does 250g of the Rhubarb & Custard for £2.47 and Retro Sweets does the rosy apples at £2.50 for 190g.

Back when I was a kid, I'd go to a sweet shop with my mother.
As a treat she'd let me buy 5-8 of these sweets. The sweetshop owner would put these sweets in a little paper bag and I'd be happy/satisfied.

Today, 5-8 sweets isn't enough. Kids now want the entire jar. Absolutely crazy. And before someone says, "they are only selling these jars of sweets for Halloween" - this is nonsense. I've seen jars of these jars in Iceland in peak Summer. And people are buying these, otherwise Iceland would stop selling them.

If parents are buying these jars and giving their kids the entire jar...they are setting their kids up for diabetes at a younger age than normal. Diabetes rates are increasing and also starting at an earlier age.

Wow, you need to chill out and let people bring up their own kids!
And no I don't give a whole jar to my kids, so next time maybe don't assume everyone is just stuffing their kids with sugar....
