The Rab Microlight Alpine Jacket is the lightweight down jacket you can take anywhere, designed for use in situations where warmth, weight and packability are prime concerns.

Just for info, these have got down to £120 a few times in the past. Terrific jacket though, worth the full RRP in my opinion.

I’ve got one of these and I wouldn’t be without it but don’t expect it to keep the cold out at this time of year. It’s great for throwing in the boot but if you want winter warmth you’ll want something heavier imho.

I’m after a down jacket at the moment. What would you recommend as a bit warmer for the winter months?
As above brilliant lightweight jacket!
Are these warm enough for winter use? Thanks
A few on eBay for £140...good jackets...light and warm...
Great jacket, I find it warm enough for winter, been cheaper though, think I paid around £100 this time last year

I bought the Canada Goose Expedition. Wore it last week for Edinburgh and it’s fantastic, total overkill for the UK I’m sure but if you want to be warm That will do it

I'm very much a t-shirt in any weather type of bloke, might come in use in Feb when it gets cold for a few weeks 😁

Berghaus or Northface 600 or better still 700 down lightweight and warmer than anything else I’ve worn. Oh by the way they don’t lose feathers either.
