First post.... The Rab womens microlight alpine jacket is reduced to £133 on Ultimate Outdoors which is a good price in itself but with the code NEW20 it comes down to £106.40. It’s a fantastic price and this is the newest one with the zipped pockets. There are two colours available!

pardon my ignorance but what makes this worth over £100?it's a coat.

What makes an iPhone worth over £950? It’s a phone. Rab are a trusted name in outdoor pursuits and it’s a jacket that traditionally costs circa £200 so it’s a very good saving.

It’s a great base layer but equally can be worn as an outer layer due to its excellent water repellent properties. It’s great versatility is what adds a small premium but it performs as well as the equivalent arcteryx jacket for a much cheaper price.

It won’t suit everyone but for those in the market for one it’s an awesome price.

I used it 10 minutes ago! I also tried it moments before I put the deal live! That’s annoying if it’s no longer active.

Oh yeah i agree Coat's are generally unimportant and not vital to anything - keeping you warm and comfortable during the winter is something completely worth skimping on and you should spend your money elsewhere. Like £500 - £1000 phones in your posts. Completely understand where your coming from.

wow calm down, i did say i wasn't knowledgable on the subject of outdoor pursuits

for popping to the shops, this seems a little unreasonable, but for hiking, camping etc then i sort of see your point

i'm not so sure a £50 coat would be only half as good though.

do u know what its like for sizing? also is really warm??

It’s typically a slim fit, my wife is a 10 but I ordered a 12 and she will wear it as an outer layer over a fleece or jumper as opposed to a base layer over just a t shirt.

If you want a slim fit then go for your size but if you think you’ll wear it over more layers then go a size up.

That's good advice and what I found as well. As for the price - you get what you pay for and these are worth every penny.

Yeah absolutely! Either a t shirt or a micro fleece would be more than adequate for a British winter.

Is it free returns? Haven’t ordered from these before.

I tried both codes on a random Men's coat (RAB Nimbus), NEWSU worked and takes 15% off.

"15% off for new sign ups (newsu) An extra 15% off for new sign ups. Cannot be used in conjunction with another offer and excludes multi-buys, gift cards, garmin, polar, suunto, oakley and 'ultimate collection' products"

Cant get NEW20 to work

Not working for me either! 🤔

Just ordered this, such a good price! I've had one of these coats for 4 years and it's the best coat I've ever owned. Keeps you toasty in really cold conditions and just the perfect temperature when warmer. Thanks for sharing this! I live near the factory shop and couldn't even get one from there for this price.

Ordered thanks. Been looking for one at a decent price for a while

a great jacket had mine over a year and as god as new, if like me you are warm blooded then over a tshirt is plenty on all but the warmest days, i wore mine to the footy last weekend with a tshirt and sweater underneith i was boiling.

for the cheap skates check out the down jackets on decathlon £20-40 and they are excellent quality, just not as good as the defacto lightweight down jacket on the market, that is copied by many but never bettered
