Turn every £0.50 in vouchers into £1.50 to spend at RAC Personal Breakdown Cover - EVERY LITTLE HELPS! Even if you don't yet have a Tesco club card!

HOW IT WORKS

1. Visit rac.co.uk/tes…ard before you buy to get a quote to see how many vouchers you’ll need for the cover you’d like. Remember to choose the correct button for new RAC customers or for renewing your RAC membership.

2. Select the amount of Clubcard vouchers you want to spend to take out a new membership or to renew your cover.

3. We’ll send you two emails within 30 minutes.
Please note: this may take longer due to additional security checks.

4. The first email will be your Clubcard order confirmation.
The second email will contain your RAC voucher code.

5. If your RAC quote is still open, enter the voucher code, if it’s timed out, visit rac.co.uk/tes…ard and re-select your cover and enter your voucher code.
You’ll need to pay any balance by credit/debit card.

====================================================

Tesco Clubcard offer
You can snap up a great deal renewing or taking out a new RAC membership using your Tesco Clubcard vouchers.

Exclusive – when you renew you get the same price as a new Tesco Clubcard member when you use some or all of your Clubcard vouchers. And if you don’t have enough vouchers for the cover you’d like don’t worry, you can top up using a credit or debit card.

If you have any questions or need assistance with the RAC Tesco Clubcard offer, please call 0330 159 8758 or read our Frequently Asked Questions.

====================================================

Check rac.co.uk/tes…ard to see how many vouchers you’ll need for the cover you’d like before you purchase, as once you’ve turned your Clubcard vouchers into an RAC voucher code, the RAC is unable to re-credit your Clubcard account, and any unused value will be lost.

Clubcard vouchers can be exchanged for a voucher code to be entered at the point of purchase or renewal for a discount on Personal Breakdown cover and Breakdown Extras. Only one voucher code can be used per transaction.

You can only buy your RAC Personal Breakdown Cover by clicking on the link we’ll send you in the email containing your RAC voucher code, cover can’t be purchased over the phone.

The RAC voucher code cannot be used with any other RAC promotion unless mentioned on this page.

You must follow the correct link sent to you by email, if you don't you might be charged twice. For example, if you are renewing your membership but follow the link for a new customer and set up a new membership.

Select the breakdown options you’d like and enter the voucher code when prompted. This will apply your discount. You’ll need to pay any balance by credit/debit card. The RAC will use your card details for this transaction only and won’t use these to automatically renew your policy.

If the RAC policy is cancelled within the first 14 days following the start date, or the date you receive your RAC Breakdown Cover Terms and Conditions, whichever is later, the premium paid to the RAC will be refunded in full unless you have made a claim in this period. Your Clubcard vouchers will also be credited back to your Clubcard account. If you cancel after the first 14 days, the RAC will refund the premium you have paid, less an amount to reflect the time you have already been covered. If you have made a claim, no refund will be given.

Does it cover emotional breakdowns?
This has been on for years, you are not really saving money as RAC are very expensive

Not sure, I only just noticed it so thought I'd share in the hope it may save someone some money.

No worries, no harm in reminding people - after all every penny counts at the moment!

I voted cold because the prices are higher than choosing the same rac cover independently so you're not really getting 3x value
I think I'll hold off renewing this year, although there will be a lot of flat batteries out there!

You put the solar panel in the dash or window, and plug it into the cigarette lighter, and it slowly trickle charges the battery... I doubt it would charge a flat battery, but it keeps it topped up whilst the car sits there unused (burglar alarms and other systems are a constant drain).

For roadside, recovery and onward travel with free personal cover is £150 or £50 Tesco vouchers!

How's this saving!

Yep and proper mains battery chargers start from about £15 on Amazon (pun unintended!)
RAC are an absolute disgrace of a service provider! They have by far the worst service of any kind of service provider (and I mean from any kind of service provider possible).
I have used AA in the past and decided to switch over because AA hiked their prices. But now I am genuinely regretting that decision. I have been sat with in my broken down car for close to 2 hours now and just been told to wait for another 90 minutes. They will not tell me how long it will take for the help to come. Just that I am next on the list. Well, I heard that 2 hours ago as well. When asked if there will definitely be help coming in 90 minutes I get told "we can't promise you that" because the driver hasn't actually accepted the job and might accept another "more serious" job on the way.

Now by serious I bet it doesn't necessarily mean their car is on fire but the the issue might be with a car part deemed more serious on THEIR SYSTEM. I pay close to £250 for a family plan that's to no use when I need it!!!

I'm stuck in the scorching sun and can't move my car due to the problem.

Please don't make the same mistake as me. Go with someone local or with the AA.

I wish I could give a lower rating than this!
