Can you lower your RAC renewal by upto 25%.

I've received my RAC renewal with a renewal price of £239.00 (Option 4 & family cover); their website offered me a price of £179.40 for the same package.

A quick call to their 0870 010 5675 customer centre and hey presto they matched the price.

Don't forget Quidco!

£180 still sounds a rip off :whistling:

yeah wow, you should think about switching! I guess this is family cover, roadside and onward travel (taken from their website)

did you know you can use your tesco clubcard points for RAC !!
worth 4 x value converted into deals

You could get solution 1 with free onward travel and family cover for £137 - £21 quidco = £116

Still sounds a lot though, you could just get the basic cover through quidco for each individual person in the family for £9 each, or pay with Tesco points

basic cover is no good if you breakdown in the middle of nowhere at 3 in the morning though!!

Guess they'd have to tow you to a nearby hotel if they couldn't fix it instead of a garage

My Green Flag cover worked out very reasonable.

£26.25 less £20.00 quidco = £6.25 for the year...................

Tesco deal posted on another thread seemed a great deal, with an online 30%discount around £55 for top cover

If you really want to push your luck (and I get away with this every year...) quote the prices on the page in this link when you ring : ]http//ww…les

£160 for FULL family membership. Supposedly only for Marbles customers but we all know if they can do it for one they can do it for everyone, better a lesser return than no return etc ;-)

But thats only for 1 car, £90 for 2 and they probably require registrations numbers. The advantage of the likes of the RAC is its member based rather than car based:thumbsup:
