The £80 cover with the AA gives you £38 quidco and £30 fuel voucher making it £12 and adds relay to anywhere in the UK.

Would they honour the cashback though:

Customers purchasing breakdown cover in conjunction with any other AA offers, such as new car purchases or free memberships with Car and Home Insurance policies, will not be eligible for cashback.

Aa one sound's a bit of a gamble.

heat op going for this one.

Does it cover Northern ireland

I accidentally put my home address as my parents address.

When my car broke down outside my own house, it seems I was covered

Does it cover Northern ireland

Seems so:

Am I covered in Northern Ireland with my RAC UK Breakdown cover?

Yes, our breakdown policy will cover you anywhere in the UK, including Northern Ireland.

rac.co.uk/bre…own

additionally if you have RAC recovery cover, they will also recover you whilst in the Republic:

I live in Northern Ireland, will I be covered for recovery in the Republic of Ireland without taking European cover?

Customers who live in Northern Ireland can be recovered from the Republic of Ireland if they have Recovery cover or above.

Mainland UK residents are also cover in the RoI if they have normal UK cover, but only for roadside assistance and a 10 mile tow.

Don't forget TCB want paying now. Just came to claim a payout and they are wanting to deduct two years worth of membership fees! Yeah right, bye.

Autoaid is a better breakdown solution that either of these really. I've used these for 3 years now.

It depends which membership level you go for. Their 'Classic' membership is free of charge and has no membership fee. Their 'Plus' membership does have a fee but pays out higher rates.

I always do this too (on purpose) whenever I take breakdown cover as it in effect gives you the "at home" cover part for free (_;)

I didn't get the quidco version of the AA page when I went through, may not be as good as I first thought. It has tracked though.

Has anyone managed to do this offer (RAC not the AA!) and successfully had the cashback actually show as being either pending or paid on their TCB account?

Or help push it down the road!

Would definitely side with AA for break down. RAC and BSM have just become money grabbers with reduced service. AA does pay cash back , so long as you make your payments on time! And don't cancel your policy . I got over £100 from them for full cover and warranty cover . Just depends what they have on at time. They don't pay out on cash back sites if you cancel direct debit or choose to pay by card I'm sure.

They don't pay out if you go through an affiliate link or offer URL (the free fuel card for example).
