This is scorching. Usually I would not vote hot for overclockers deal coz of the ridiculous postage but this one has one of the best coolers on a RX570 and can heartily recommend this.

The supers / Navi will only affect the second hand market imo. These and 580/590/1660 should remain pretty static as there’s no real new products at this level yet.

Also Nvidia also said when they announced the super cards that other rtx cards will be discounted
Only the 2070 and 2080( non super) are end of life. The 2060S is pretty much a 2070 and 2070S is equivalent to a 2080 but at lower prices.

I think this is more down to prices of RX 580/570 than due to anything else.
What cards does this compare to ? I have a ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1060 3GB Graphics Card and I hate iit , its far too noisy.

Same question.
What does this compare to from nvidia?

Probably a bit better than the GTX 1060 5GB and worse than the GTX1650

Its closest is probably 1060 3gb or a 1660. If your wanting a change from a 1060 I would probably go for a 2060 but obviously cost is a lot higher

Only the 2070 and 2080 are getting a discount, the 2060 is to remain at £329 RRP.

No new cards are coming out at the low end so I doubt this price will change much until we see the lower end Navi's.

Hmm not quite actually, Sapphire are a lot better with regards to AMD cards. For example the Strix Vega 64 has notoriously poor cooling for the VRMs.

I’m hoping I’ll be able to pick up a 1080 sub 200 soon.
Glad retailers have realised they are alienating normal users by raising the prices for the bitcoin miners. Have kept my RX470 for nearly 3 years as I refused to pay £400 for a 1070
I've had this exact card for 6 months or so. The Strix cooler on this particular card isn't great, the fans have to work hard to keep it under 70 and thus make a lot of noise when playing a demanding game. Taking 25% off the power limit in radeon settings shuts it up (mostly) at the cost of some performance.

In spite of this, there is bugger on the market, new or used, that all that can spit out as many frames as this can for the same money.

This isn'tnear a 1660. Cant think of a single game where this is quicker. This is around 1060 6gb level at best.

Ah ok. I'm not quite as well versed on AMD cards unfortunately. Hopefully that'll change in the near future.
Guess Asus dropped the ball on that one then. Sapphire do work exclusively with AMD so I suppose that makes sense.

I have the strix 480 with the triple cooler, I think it's pretty annoyingly loud under load. But I do like setting the leds to go green/red based on temperature, that's neat.

Its lower than a 1060 6gb or RX 580. But value for money here is the best. Diminishing returns on performance price wise nowadays. The cards above give you less and less.

This variant is top notch too. Super hot. For 1080p gaming this is superb.

Is that still the case with a custom fan curve?
Noob question but will this run the oculus?

I think you're about a year or so out of date here.
The VRM issue with the 64 was only with the first lot. Was sorted pretty quickly.

The overall cooling on these is excellent.

This is roughly an rx 570 a 580 would be a small improvement, 1660/ti would be more noticeable.

The 1050ti is only around 2/3 (66%) the performance comparing to the 570.

I had a Rx 460 strix briefly and have to say the shroud felt very cheap with thin bendy plastics. In comparison to the Sapphire Nitro’s it seemed terrible. As long as it does the job though eh
Noob question but how quiet is this ?
