Its certainly cheap, but I would not bother as the scheduling information is available online making this a waste of paper.

You may say that but how many times are you sat in front of a tv with a laptop switched on to view the schedulings. Personally I prefer something to flick through for tv schedulings. You could say the same for any EPG that freeview, sky or v+ has.

Paper can and is recycled.

We always buy a saturday paper just for the tv guide for the week, this saves more money than that.

Voted hot from me.

I got this and think it's an excellent deal. I've just cancelled it after the trial period.

Haha I was just about to post this, logged in and you beat me.
When I went through quidco though I couldn't find this £1 deal, so I added it from the link above then clicked through quidco and paid for it, don't know if it'll work but it was worth the try.

Oh for the love of ...

... you find me detailed radio listings anywhere on line - AS detailed as the Radio Times and as easy to access quickly without switching on a PC or a laptop and I might give it a go.

But the RADIO TIMES website is underinformed and frequently down. There are so few reliable/decent listings sites out there.

What's more RADIO TIMES has been going for an exceptionally long time and is THE listings magazine. There's a reason it's still going strong and that people pay top money for it each week.

In your OPINION it may be a waste of paper, but your lurid and misrepresentative fact is inflammatory and ignorant.

If you don't want to take advantage of the offer then ignore it. Don't post in it to satisfy your own sense of self-worth.

I totally agree but wow Mr Wonder Stuff fan looks like you got out of the wrong side of a Stourbridge bed this morning all snarly lol ;-)

Let us know if quidco tracks!

After logging through Quidco I cannot find a 12 issues for £1 option only 4 issues for £1, anyone know how to login to quidco and track this link from here?

I remember the "good old day" before weekly tv listings in the papers and people getting both the TV and Radio times as BBC 1 & 2 listings were in one and ITV and C4 in the other.

Uses to be a nightmare as a paperboy when every Tuesday ( I think) you had a load of these to deliver!

tvguide.co.uk/

Thats all I'm going to say in case I get my head bitten off!! lol

Anyone have the method to cancel?

Got a compulsory 4hr training session this afternoon and a pile of work to finish.

I am indeed a "sourpuss, grumpy-face".

Good deal, it makes me wonder how many people DON'T recycle their papers/magazines.

I reckon it means that your local listings (IE ITV1) will be for Scotland and the Borders

So you have to 'click' on the option for the region you want on that page. After that a screen then appears with the area you have chosen.

just ordered, and through quidco! thanks!

Works through quidco voted hot =you can cancel at any time apperently

Mine has just tracked through Quidco @ £4.80 fantastic find rep added.

Just to say that Tatler magazine is £12 for a year, minus the Quidco ( £8.20 therefore for a year..), and there is a £30 gift of some fabulous fake tan lotion with this. I recently bought The Tatler and got some free sunglasses which were very Jackie Kennedy so there are some really good free gifts per month anyway with it, and it is ordinarily quite pricey. The good thing with this is that it is not direct debit, just a one off payment which means no worries about future charges....:)

Dirt cheap, but waste of paper

I signed up for this last time it was a £1 and have just cancelled even though there are probably still issues to come. My advice would be make sure you are actually going to use it because the fact its coming through my door now is as irritating as junk mail! I remove the plastic cover and stick it in the recycling bin!

Thanks afc1903 for the tvguide.co.uk link, haven't come across that one before (show's how hard I've looked).
I use 'What's on UK' Widget for Mac OS X occasionally but this is a lot better and more customisable to my EPG channels.

Log onto your bank account, and cancel the direct debit, very easy!

No it's NOT a waste.

It's only a waste because you've ordered something out of pure greed that you don't want. That's wasteful.

How can you be so obtuse?

Nice one, now must remember to cancel after 3 months!!

Talk about money for nothing; tracked ok on Quidco no problem. great find ..... cheers

Nice find! Just ordered and Quidco tracked fine.

To all those with environmental concerns - recycle the magazines and then donate the £4.80 earned through Quidco to an environmental charity or concern. Everyone's a winner

I just did as the OP advised, copied the link and subscribed 12 issues for £1. Not until when it's done did I realise that I subscribed for 'Scotland & Border' issues, same as the OP's, whereas I live in London. Silly me. Wonder if there's any difference....

Thanks though, this is a good deal!

Thanks for this

I still buy a TV magazine as I can't really cope with the amount of brain power going through EPGs.

LOL - I use ]onthebox for telly. You can set up email reminders and all sorts.

Good deal, signed up and tracked on Quidco - thanks for the free money!

These are of course all tracked and not validated. Seems like a good deal. They have a few other £1 trials on their site too. I suppose RT is the best deal as it's more magazines (12 rather than 4 (monthly)).

Anyone still looking into this might want to give them a sniff so you're at least getting something you want and not binning the magazines.

After they take the £1 from your account, can you cancel the Direct Debit straight away, and still receive the 12 weeks?

Me too. I heart onthebox!

I doubt they would know youve cancelled the DD until they try to take the money?

Quidco have said they won't be honouring the £4.80 as this was an email only offer.
