Probably the best British album ever released (can you tell I'm a fan?!)

And at £2.99... well, you have no excuses whatsoever not to add this CD to your collection!

My first deal, so go easy on me...

A timeless brilliant album.

Quite possibly the most pretentious band ever since Milli Vanilli.

Best. Album. EVER!

2.99 on Amazon, too, in case Play run out of stock. (Unlikely, but Zavvi ran out of G'n'R this morn).

Also £2.99 in the Amazon MP3 store

10 times cheaper than King of Limbs and 100 times better.

Well, I wouldn't go quite that far. It is a bloody good album, though.

You like King of Limbs? I can't get into it, it's like Thom Yorke did it on his own when he was bored one week.

Good but not a patch on The Bends IMO

One of the best albums by one of the best bands ever. Worth £2.99 of anyone's money

Heh, I'm surprised there is only one hater...when I opened this I thought there'd be loads!

It's a fantastic price for a great album.

Maybe 'not a patch on' is too strong a term but pretty much my sentiments. Quality throughout The Bends is just sublime.

It does sound like the follow up to Thom's "The Eraser" (cracking album too!) and at first "The King Of Limbs" really wasn't sitting with me, unlike "In Rainbows" which instantly became a favourite... but with repeated listenings it's getting there... "Codex" is an outstanding Radiohead song!

But less than three quid for one of the best albums ever, period, ain't too shabby!

Greta value for a great album. But let's be honest: 'The Bends' is much better. And let's not forget 'Pablo Honey' - that still gets a lot more play than 'OK Computer' in this house. seriously if you've never heard it or have not heard it in a long while you really should check it out (personally I skip 'Creep' though as it's been played to death).

Possibly, the first half of OK Computer is sublime, but I am not too keen on the second half (bar Lucky which is one my all time fave radiohead tracks)

why cant he just call himself Tom like most normal Thomases do?

Liked this excerpt from a music journo online:

"Listening to a Radiohead album is like putting “European Son” by The Velvet Underground on loop. For an hour. Sure, there’s a little bit of beauty, but it’s buried beneath a mound of unlistenable, unnecessary layers. If you covered the Hope Diamond in excrement, someone would still buy it, but it wouldn’t change the fact it looks and smells like Smurf s**t."

didnt vote BTW.

What about "Electioneering"? "Climbing Up The Walls"? "The Tourist"? I could go on lol

Personally, I think "Hail To The Thief" is THE ultimate Radiohead album... I just can't fault it, the perfect mix of guitars and their later experimentalism...

I think "The Bends" is a good, sorry, very good indie-rock album, but surely "OK Computer" was a the sound of a band REALLY starting to become what they were always meant to... "Pablo Honey" is underated, "You", "Ripcord" and "Blow Out" are outstanding songs... I always skip "Creep" though, just like "Smells Like Teen Spirit" it's overplayed but nice to hear once every few years...

Radiohead fans tend to be, dare I say, pretentious also.

Far better to be a pretentious Radiohead fan than an ignorant metaller/clubber/chart pop/rap/r'n'b fan.

I quite like royksopp as it happens.
