as the title says > RADION washing powder 0.8kg / 12 wash for 50p at Home Bargains.
picked up a couple of packs in the Breightmet,Bolton store earlier today. i only noticed the blue packs but both bio and non bio available. the packaging on both of these is identical apart from the text on the bottom left hand corner on the front of the packaging so be careful if you're after one type in particular.
i've not used Radion before so can't comment on the quality of the wash but worth a try at 50p.
on the shelf there is a Home Bargains Star Buy promotional sticker which leads me to believe that this deal is nationwide.
hope this is of help / use to a few

Didn't know Radion still existed!
It was Unilever's answer to Proctor & Gamble's Arial - but never quite made it. I thought they scrapped it and did another Persil variant.
HOT at this price.
Does that mean its ok then?
me too i thought it was long gone, i still use a radion tin for bits nd bobs
Don't use it for woolens silks and delicates, and be sure your rinse cycle works, and you'll be fine. If you have any skin conditions, it should be avoided like the plague.
Radion is often listed as a marketing disaster - almost on a par with Omo, which was a brand leader until they suggested it was perfect for 'stubborn stains' and no-one wanted to be seen with a pack in public. (That was Unilever too - no clue, really).
It always was, and with stories of skin troubles, ... it almost certainly still is.
It was my legs got it when my mum used this in the 90's...won't be trying intuit on my kids even at 50p!
No that wasn't Radion that was Persil Power that was launched in 1994, but Radion was released sometime during the late 1980's & claimed to be a detergent that totally removed odours.
It never attracted enough people & in February 2000 when Unilever scrapped 300 of their brands Radion was one of them. They then added another addition to the Surf range; Surf Sun Fresh.
The newer one as you see is made by a different company; I know as I have a box of it myself.
According to my box of new Radion it's made by a company called Radion UK, Wellington Way, Brooklands, Weybridge, Surrey, KT13 OTT
Hope this is useful.
