Vinyl LP repressing of this 1992 album, released to coincide with the album's 20th Anniversary. Pi*ed off and angry is the best way to describe Rage Against the Machine's first album. A fierce mix of hip-hop, punk & heavy rock exploded all over the music scene in 1992. At first sight an unlikely band; Tom Morello, a nerdy guitar hero who played his guitar like a DJ, political activist Zack de la Rocha who spitted out his lyrics with a vengeance. Together with Brad Wilk on drums and Tim C. on bass they produced one of the most angry records of 90's. The album even contained, dare we say it, hit singles like 'Killing in the name of' and 'Bullet in the head'. Put the needle on the record and get blown away (again)!

Worth noting that when dispatched, this also qualifies for a £5 off your next Vinyl purchase. Valid for 14 days from receiving the email.

I used to be a fan until they got all political. As far as I'm concerned …I used to be a fan until they got all political. As far as I'm concerned RATM and Pink are completely done.

Best laugh I've had in weeks when I saw that original comment.

Proper guys these, why chuck a statue in the harbour when you can simply channel your anger into creating an album that sounds just as innovative and relevant 30 years on.

Rage Against the Dishwasher

Personally I'd go with the Audio Fidelity SACD version

I do like RATM but I find their politics a bit overbearing outside their music. I follow Tom Morello on instagram and it's all a bit relentless.

The Detroit Metro Times apparently spoke to him. Probably like many and didn't actually listen to the lyrics much...

It's the Pink bit that gets me 😄

Personally I'm hoping for a RATM & Pink collaboration album. 2020 has proven nothing is too weird to happen.

Good find did not expect that twist in the story
Numpties on Twitter aside, how's this pressing of the album?

Why not do both?
I mean, what's change has come about in 27 years from a (admittedly fantastic) album?

That's why Audioslave were better, same music, without the virtue signalling, no more alas... Rip Chris Cornell
