Think you can still get these with Tesco Clubcard points. I have seen these with a third off before so watch out for batter deals.

Yes, you can still get these with Clubcard vouchers, however it's not worth 2x the value when you take voucher codes into account. You need £15 worth of Clubcard vouchers to get a railcard, when for £27 you can get any of the above. I personally would rather spend my Clubcard vouchers on things worth exactly 2x, 3x or even 4x the value, e.g. RedSpottedHanky vouchers (2x), Goldsmiths Giftcard (3x), Papa Johns (4x) and Pizza Express (4x) etc.

And in regards to seeing these with a third off, that's only been the Family & Friends railcard, you don't get a third off the 16-25, Two Together and Senior railcards.

Basically if anyone needs any of the above railcards now, then £27 is the best price.

Technically, you can get a railcard for 4 years at Santander for opening a student account. So £27 isn't necessarily the best price
There's always an exception to the rule hehe

So that will be ... including one years tuition fees in England - £9.027.00 - please do call again, let the train take the strain.

Some people don't need a time machine and happen to go to this place of education

Of course it would be £9,000 - not £9,027 (since the railcard is free remember!)

I think it is worth using clubcard to buy this rail card, I for one never waste my clubcard on places like pizza express, there are always various free offers on dining out at the big names and I always get 2 4 1 at Prezzos anyway.

This card will save money in the next year and I will use some clubcard to buy it.

cheers

Totally agree, I like to get the best deal I can from my Tesco vouchers. Just thought i'd mention as another option to forking out the cash. I personally feel these railcards offer good value for money so worth having one and if you can get it at a discount.....all the better!

If you will renew each year then remember you can sign up online for a 3yr card for £70. Wonder if the 10% code would work on that too?

Mine doesn't expire until July, can i renew now? Any help would be much appreciated!

No worries. I just wanted people to make the most of their Clubcard vouchers, and if they can't find anything else they want to spend them on; then of course buying a railcard with them is an option.

Unfortunately the voucher codes never work on the three year railcards.

Not yet I'm afraid. They can only be renewed up to 30 days in advance.

See here for more details. The same applies to all other railcards, to the best of my knowledge. HTH.

Excellent thank you

Does this card mean 2 can travel using this card for free locally ? Thanks

Nobody can travel free with these railcards, but you do get 1/3 off rail tickets. I suggest you look at the deal link which provides more details.
