My sarcasm sense is tingling.
Thanks, gone for it. Need to get my anorak out now.
I personally don't understand the sarcasm. People don't really take the p**s out of flight sims. I guess planes are cooler than trains?
Been waiting for this to be available on the cheap! Thanks OP!
Does this come with a pot noodle and bobble hat?
Seriously tempted for some reason.
All DLCs are 50% off, you can get them for only £645.86

They are indeed. Though I personally take the view that if someone likes something then good for them - whether that be pretending to drive trains, or pretending to sweep the streets!

Just out of curiosity, what does driving a train actually involve? I always imagined it wasn't much more complicated than "go" and "stop"!
Buy the 'Haulin' USA' pack instead. You get the above with Horseshoe Pass, plus Donner Pass and Northeast Corridor routes (usually £24.99 each) for an extra £2.30 (£4.79 for the pack)
Much better deal
Trains vs Zombies DLC is epic (and yes, it damn well is real!)

Think I'll buy this, used to do the NEC on MS train simulator.

Also a semi funny intro to this game - Link
Is this the GOTY edition?
I actually got this lol. Not actually that bad.
its not too bad if youy really have nothing else to do, and who knows one day your train driver might die and you could be the one to stop a train from crashing
I've had this a while. It's horribly horribly addictive.
Game isnt coded very well, it runs a bit sluggishly even on high end systems.
The temptation of getting this is extremely high right now.

My son would love this but we use a different computer. How does the download work? Can I transfer to his PC?

What about for the users who can't afford train fares, ie. PC users? (_;)

Surely that's the target audience in these austere times!
Not my scene but I guess at this price for a recent game, it is a hot deal if it is your dream to be a train driver. No side view out of the cab apparently which sounds a bit odd for a simulator

I'm going to have so much fun reenacting my journey to work every morning.

Its not just go and stop lol plus it takes 2yrs to become a qualified driver, its 100% concentration continuous deactivation of alarms you have 15 seconds to respond or 30 seconds on other alarms, or train brakes activate. reading signals at 100 plus mph, bringing train to a safe stop at stations, Thats just the basic brief explanation. but just imagine driving at high speed with a train that is so many 100 tons and carrying 400 plus passengers
Don't forget £645.86 for the DLC.
Buy it!!! As long as you have a decent PC to run it, I paid about 20 quid for it when it was 1st released, much more to it that sitting in a train and driving it! Some fantastic scenery to be seen on the boring bits, but don't miss the red light, else it's curtains!

What the actual f---? I've always been into Flight Sims, and dabbled in a bit of Microsoft Train Sim back in the day, but Trains vs Zombies? Pfft.

You have to fill it with water, fill the tender with coal, shovel the coal into the boiler, make sure the pressure is correct, keep shovelling the coal into the boiler during the journey, look out for model T fords on level crossings, braking distance etc. A lot to learn.
great deal
Get lots of flack as a simulator but it isn't for everyone. The visuals look great, it plays/performs well and the range of trains is impressive. For somebody into this sort of thing; it's a red hot deal.
