Glad, I didn't buy the repellent in Asda for £3 a few days ago. Found this pack containing Anti-fog and Repellent for £1.25 in Tesco Extra Bristol Bradley Stoke.

I remember it was showing a higher price on the shelf but scanned at £1.25(I had one of those hand held scanners).

I picked one, there was one more left, told a guy next to me looking at other car products about the discount, he said ' Thanks, not interested'.

The anti fog has mixed reviews but my windscreen is always treated with repellent. If you have ever endured the interesting moment of zero visibility whilst overtaking a second lane hgv in heavy rain you will love this stuff. It reduces that sort of spray experience to insignificance and may just save you from having a really bad day
Few. Glad you didn't spend £3 either. Well done

Better expire my £3 Asda Deal GREAT FIND HOT
Found this in Ilkeston, still a few left 2 hours ago, they also had the rainX glass cleaner for £1.40 I think. Never used it before but grabbed 2 boxes anyway as it will last years!
Just as a word of warning I bought the Anti-fog a few years back and it did nothing except for freeze on the inside of my windscreen.

Excellent Price, have some heat
Make sure you get any stone chips repaired before you use Rain X. It soaks into the damage and won’t allow the resin to bond.
Which tescos will this be the large ones or the smaller ones what are they called tesco extras or something or is it all of them

My local tesco extra dont stock rainx only simoniz & prestone products
Used both and highly rate them both, windscreen, helmet visor ,bathroom mirror e.t.c. Only negative would be I wish the anti fog lasted longer, other than that faultless😁
i bought the antifog and it made my widnscreen worse
didnt even work and if anything it made it more hazed up
Is this in Wembley?
Anti fog stuff is rubbish doesn' work and goes streaky but the rain x outside stuff is brilliant

This stuff must be worth a try at that price. If it really gets rid of fog.
It was really bad around here last night a real pea souper, could have done with some of this then.

You'll probably need a bigger jar of it though
Well that sucks, just bought this last week from amazon for £7.99 😑
Very good, i apply every 3-4 weeks and fog is reduced by 80-90%
Bought from Asda last week
Voted cold. Granted it looks cheap but having tried the rainX on my windscreen before it make the wipers less effective.

- YES in very light rain it meant you could get away with very infrequent intermittent wipes....BUT the glass always looked a bit smeared... and yes i did clean it before applying the rainX.

I experienced no benefit. Pocket the £1.25 and save time.
Great spot...excellent price !
Wipe on / wipe off...it does improve fogging. There's a demister type for inside car as well...it also improves misting.
Isopropyl alcohol (if you can still buy it) is a cheaper option and does the same job on many applications
great deal heat added but ..
if you use this and you get a stone chip on your screen it cant get repaired due to the chemicals in this stuff repels the resin used to repair the screen ..i know this because i work at autoglass and have done for nearly 30 years

Thought I'd check the reviews for myself, this one seemed strangely familiar

Just a tip I use rain x on my shower cubicle glass. Helps stop build up of limescale etc

I suspect the performance of these products is largely down to application, it's not something you can just slap on with no thought. The anti fog has been working well since I applied it a couple of weeks ago, except on one window where I probably buffed it with a dry cloth before it was really dry enough.

do you mean the mist on the inside of the windscreen?
Hot if you love juddery wipers.

This stuff is good for sun roof or panoramic roof though.
Been another wild goose chase tesco extra in Hanley massive store they didn't even have any rain x products in at all and very small motoring aisle worse than asdas

agree. that was something that I experienced with this stuff.

the way the wipers worked after i applied rainX didn't seem to clean the windscreen so well....

almost like there was a layer of chemical on the glass or something 🤔

I am also glad you did not spend £3.
This stuff is terrible! Cold, even if it was 50p I’d still refrain from buying it
I never used one of those hand scanners - i think i just might now - Good idea for checking the prices instore!
Saves embarrassment at the till when you are told in no uncertain terms the deal doesnt exist!
