Rain X Rain Repellent 200ml - £3.34 using SAVE33 code @ EuroCarParts

Good price i reckon.

Use code SAVE33 and it comes to £3.34 and there is also free delivery too!

I am aware Asda are cheaper by 34p but you would need to spend £25 online first and in-store is not a guarantee. ECP have this item in stock and do offer free next day delivery in some cases too.

Rain X Rain Repellent 200ml

Rain X rain repellent improves wet weather visibility and safety by creating an invisible hydrophobic coating that repels rain sleet and snow.

  • Simply apply to a clean window with a cotton cloth.
  • The unique formula then stops the rain water from settling on the windscreen.
  • No need to re-aply for 3 months.
  • a clearer view ahead means safer driving

Edit 09/01/18 - Updated with new code SAVE33 which has increased price by 10p but still a good deal!

Oh hello merb0786, not seen you for a while. Decent stuff this is too.
This might be random but can I apply this to the inside of my shower?

my wipers are currently dead (waiting for linkage part to come) and this …my wipers are currently dead (waiting for linkage part to come) and this stuff helps a lot, would say don't need wipers anymore one bottle will last you for years ... heat for the price as I paid £5 and that was a good deal

You might say that you don’t need fully functioning wipers any more, but PC Plod would beg to differ.

That aside, despite being a fan of Rain X and other similar products for motorway cruising, with Rain X having limited effect below 45 to 50 mph, anyone foolish enough to drive a car around without fully functioning wipers, deserves to be on the receiving end of PC Plods opinion on the subject.

I would prefer to have my wipers in a good working order but will not give up driving to work because a spare part need time to be delivered my local garage wanted £230 for the job, decided to do it myself for £30 (bought used part from ebay) and to drive a few days without my wipers ... no brainer

I had delivery inside 3 days via DHL last time.
I can confirm this stuff actually works, great if you drive hatchback without rear wiper.
Never had any problems with delivery.

You're lucky as a lot of people have said slow delivery on previous posts. I had 4 bottles in a large box so they just shook around all over the place and one lid came off. See if they ever reply after 2 wks and photos sent

EuroCarParts seems to be random with deliveries.

Bought some cheap screen wash, delivered two days after by DHL
Than I bought some other stuff from them, DHL again but week later.
Next order superfast, one after slow as a snail.

In my case always delivered by DHL
This might be random but can I apply this to the inside of my shower?
A “clear” deal, heat from me. Had a bottle of this years ago and found it an excellent product so ordered some for the wife, son and myself.

An mot will find the fault long before the local constabulary.
Thanks Op. Good price. Ordered one. Heat added.

Gtechnic at £10 a bottle will bead at around 30mph.

I’ve also noticed an added side effect is I seem to be the only car in the street that doesn’t get frozen windows.

Thanks, never tried before - just ordered
In direct sunlight this causes a huge blur. Used it for years and great fun for a warp speed 10 effect and does away with need to have wipers on as often but the low level sun and the blinding blur can be a bit scary.

Can I use this on my convertibles roof ?

Anyone else had this experience?????
Heat bro has been purchased
Thanks for the find OP. Will be really useful and will last for ages hopefully! Heat added
Ordered, thanks op
Love this stuff. As mentioned, works well above 50mph, don't really need to use wipers at 70 mph. But even at slow speeds water beads off easily. Totally recommend.
Thanks. Ordered a bottle to give it a try. Will try it on the wife's car first!

Nope, I loved it when I was using the motorway every day. It's such a cool effect.
This stuff is way better then the "glass cleaner" stuff they're pedaling with the same name

Used this for 5 years and never found this problem....however I once applied it too liberally and it did cause a bit of a smear that lasted a little while when using the wipers. Since then I've made sure to not apply too much and have not had an issue since.
Ordered
Thanks, I've used this for years and it's great. I've also took this opportunity to try their anti-fog stuff too

I tend to use this on the side windows of the car. Good in winter too as it easier to remove ice & frost from glass.

I avoid using it on the windscreen as it creates a strange blur effect when the wipers are on.
