OK this is more of a heads up than a hot deal, but thought I'd share after much deliberation about whether to go all in on the DLC for this game.

Basically this price requires the buyer to have 100 uplay points in their Uplay account. Go to the store and redeem your credits for the 20% store discount code and then follow the link in this thread or just go to the Year 2 DLC page and purchase for 19.99 after the discount.

When you boot the game up, the additional content will load up and you will end up with 1200 R6 coins. Go to the "shop" in game and buy a further 1200 R6 coins for £7.99 and then go to the Operators page in game and select the Legacy Bundle which will show as 2160 R6 points with the 10% off you'll get for being a season pass holder.

So £27.98 and leaving 240 R6 coins in your account to use on other tat.

I bought the game for £5.99 during a store glitch, so this extra for the DLC didn't bother me, and seems like a decent price considering the Year 2 bundle is £24.99 on it's own.

Again, not after heat, just a heads up for new purchases of the game, or others on th fence about the DLC Operators.

If there's a cheaper price on the internet, please show me the way cold voters

Half the fun is grinding for Renown (xp) and unlocking the operators. Appreciate that some prefer to have all the operators from the get go so decent deal for them.

yeah I can see that may be good for people to aim for, something to keep them coming back to the game, but I'm too impatient lol

I wanted to buy this game but the way it is structured basically incentivises me to not buy anything at all. Even if I buy the non-starter edition I am season 1 and season 2 down on content. Now obviously I don't expect the season 2 stuff for free so let's ignore that.

Regarding season 1 I need to unlock the cheapo operators for 500-2000 clown points, and the season 1 DLC ones which cost something ridiculous like 25000 each. Needless to say they are priced this way to make the only viable way of unlocking them buying the season 1 pass/legacy operators bundle. This was ok when the game was new but now in order to get into this game you basically have to lay out for Game + legacy bundle +season 2 pass all at once, which is pretty ridiculous.

They should just be selling the game + season 1 stuff at a discounted price (since it's old content) so that anyone who didn't buy in from the start can at least get into the game. The entry price for me is a big demotivator to even getting started.

I can see where you are coming from and yes, the microtransactions in this game are disgusting but I bought the game when it glitched on the store for 5.99. So to me the cost of this year 1 & year 2 content is pretty decent, making the overall cost for what is essentially the "complete edition" only 34 quid. Half the price they are charging on the store.

I will say tho, that being a 34 year old gamer who has played FPS games since the very first CoD1 & United Offensive, Battlefield 1942 & CS 1.6 among countless others, and playing every sequel through to present day, hand on heart this is the most refreshing FPS game I've played for over 10 years.

Add in 1 or 2 mates on Teamspeak/Skype and you have yourself the best multiplayer game that you can play right now.

If you can get the base game from cdkeys for 12 quid which it was the other day, and then this deal here for 28. it's 40 quid for countless hours of awesome sauce.

If you don't have many mates online, get me added Emperor_Rosko on uplay and happy to play the game with anyone.
