Poundland do the same size Himalayan Salt, purchased on Friday. The container is a soft plastic not a hard one.

What sort of a nonsense is Himalayan salt? A common mineral shipped halfway round the world, as a gimmick!

415g at Poundstretcher if no Aldi nearby.

That gives people in those regions a source of income and helps them to build economies. Seems a worthwhile gimmick to me?!

Strange they don't call it Pakistan salt.

I get mine from b&m stores £1.99 @ 390g

I've seen Himalayan salt thats 99% sodium chloride... even the lidl stuff is the same...

that's not real Himalayan salt..

I've tasted the supermarket and lidl one and unlike real Himalayan salt the flavour profile is off and very salty unlike Himalayan. just beware if what you buy as the supermarket stuff and the lidl stuff is no better than cheap common salt.

Stick to B&M, the Aldi and poundstretcher Himalayan salt is mixed packed in South Africa and mixed with local salt.
