Which version is the best to get for beginner

Get the normal version to avoid being limited on how many credits you earn

Not this version ironically.
Was 5.99 for a long time like 3 weeks ago, plus the starter edition is definitely not worth it, you will regret buying this/

Standard Edition,

Everything can be unlocked with in game currency and all the DLC is free on all editions.

The difference between Starter and Standard is you can unlock operators much faster with the Standard version, the starter version has a really long grind to open just one operator

Just the standard edition, the starter edition is a total grind fest. The DLC in this game is very fair as all the operators are fairly balanced, so you won't be at a disadvantage with just the standard edition.
Do not get the starter pack itll take forever to get new operators. Recommend at least normal or splahing out since its on offer
To echo the others, DO NOT buy this. It's a total rip-off, stump up a few more quid and get the proper version.
So all dlc is free once you buy the standard edition, thought you had to buy the season passes ?
Got this on all 3 platforms, such an amazing game.

No the season pass unlocks them early with some cosmetic stuff for each

You can earn the other Operators (Playable classes) via credits you earn in game, you can unlock them in any order you wish and tbh it doesnt take long to unlock them

Oh, cool, free maps always good.
I just bough the Gold Edition (standard + Year 2 operators) for £27 (-5%) on cdkeys. Basically an extra £10 for the 8 ops. For my cousin who will probably not want to grind for them.
Vote cold on this one. Yeah it's cheap, but it'll cost you far more in TIME to unlock things than it would if you just paid the extra for the regular edition of the game. Which is only £15.99 on CDkeys right now.

It is free, in the sense that you can unlock all the added new operators by just playing the game. 18-20 hours will net you enough in game currency to unlock one DLC operator (there's currently 16, with another 8 coming next year).
You can also unlock all the cosmetic items via in game credits or with free loot drops that you get for playing/winning games.
It's a bit of a rough grind to unlock them all for a new player, but once you're in, you can easily get enough in game credits to buy them new operators every 3 months when they're released (40 hours of play time over 12 weeks works out at just over 3 hours a week).
