Most people don't want a big butt !!

Reduced from £30 I should add

At last, a half decent price for a lump of plastic to hold some water. In todays world every household should have at least one of these, (space willing), If nothing else, at least when the water goes down you will be able to get some water out of the butt to flush the toilet..
Great price, top find, thanks.

these are great value, have three and they do a great job,but beaware and check the box before getting to far away from store,as i had to return four due to broken bits inside.

How on earth is this flat-packed?

I ll most certainly have a look at this.
Cant see much on their website though

Very good question..unless its a big plastic bag

It is a plastic bag, I have one, it took me 4 hours to put together trying to fit the base and lid... make sure you empty it before winter, I left mine half full and it keeled over and the internal bag split... Im going to buy one of these just for the bag, as to buy the bag alone is £11 + Delivery...

I like this bit

Special Note:

Since May 2010 it has come to our attention that there is rogue stock of the RainMate water butt selling very cheaply on the UK stock clearance market. Items are often incomplete, with key parts missing altogether. Some damaged.

We were the original manufacturers of Rainmate. We ceased manufacturing on licence around Autumn 2006. Unfortunately we no longer have spare parts and when the current stock of RainMate bags is sold it is decisively the last. We are truly sorry that many people have been disappointed with the rogue stock, which we think may have originated in Holland. It has done no favours for you, if you are an unfortunate purchaser of this stock. It has done no favours to us either, as our reference appears somewhere on these items.

We would just like to add that those customers who know us well would endorse the face that we would never knowingly allow even one item of flawed stock to leave our premises

As poster above states this looks like HB are selling the rogue batch if he has had to take 4 back! Not voting either way but, seems they are cheap for a reason.

Ho Ho Ho, that **is** scary. 200litres of water in a plastic bag - no thank you, will stick to the conventional one that I have.

What do you people actually use these for?

This deal makes me want to go all MC Hammer!

Collecting rainwater.

oO

would this be ok for my caravan to store water in, to run my water pump from

There needs to be a way to withdraw heat on deals when the reality is revealed!

Very High and not very wide, im using mine on the side of a greenhouse and it is so tall I have had to try and use it without the proper base, as with the base on, the top of the water but is higher than the guttering on the greenhouse... I would measure it for you if it wasnt lying on its side in the garden covered by 6" of snow after it colapsed last week...

LOL
Post of the week, excellent reading

Yep, bought one yesterday from North Shield HB. Took ages to put together (Trying to make square rigid plastic round!) and when I started to fill it found the bag had a whole in it! Took back for refund.

Tried to order the 100L kit from Homebase (£19.99) but no stock in my area. Bah
