seems good to me, why cold?

Seems good to me too, someone must be feeling cold and pressed it by accident.

Nice one. Been meaning to replace my tyres on a bike I use occasionally as they are worn. Thanks

I love the reviews. Rubber tyres smelling of rubber while he drives his bike around :

I was a little dubious about getting two tires for such a low price, but they got delivered very quickly and I fitted them to my bike without a problem. Only comment I have is they smelt so strong of rubber that I had to keep my car windows open if I had the bike in the back!

That didn't make much sense. You put these over your wheel, not your existing tires.

I think it makes perfect sense, my current tyres are 1.75 these are 1.95 so should fit on the rim

Nice find - I needed to replace the tyres on my hybrid and these will do just fine

Anything (within reason!) over around 1.2" will fit your rims fine.

Your current tires are completely irrelevant. Your wheels would probably handle 2.25 tires.

Hi, Does anyone know if I can use these to replace current tyres; the dimensions written on the wheel say 26 x 1.90

Will these fit given they are 26 x 1.95?

Thanks

I think the thing Deano was alluding to was the gap between the forks. If the forks aren't wide enough to accommodate 1.95" wide tyres, then they won't fit.

Measure the gap between the forks and if the gap is wider than 1.95, you should be good to go. You might not need to measure the distance, it might be obvious that they fit.

They say "my tires are xx will xx fit" and that just doesn't make any sense.

I think it does. Obviously the 26" makes sense between they're for 26" inch wheels. The size that matters in this instance, I think, is the width, because if they're too wide, the tyres won't fit.

Just to add. If his current tires gave just .20 clearance, that's pretty close if you ask me.
If the question was more like "I have 1.1 tires, I want 2.25, will they fit my wheel?" It would still not make sense. Because like you said earlier, it's not the wheel you need to worry about, it's the forks.
A question like "I have x bike, with x wheels, will these tires fit"

Voted hot for the price, though if you're riding your bike on-road a pair of slicks would give a better ride. You'd pay an extra £10 for a pair of something like Schwalbe City Jets, but they do make a big difference to the ride.

It sounds like you're the only one having a problem here, surely that should tell you something.

Funny. Since the minority understands his question and take no regards to the problems he could encounter asking such vague questions.

That statement doesn't make an sense, sorry.

Also, have you ever seen an MTB that accommodates a 1.90 tyre but won't accommodate a 1.95? (One twentieth of an inch wider)

I certainly haven't.

The guy has 1.75, not 1.90.
I never said they wont fit, im saying he asked the wrong question.

thanks so much for this just ordered 3 sets as our local bike shop sell them for £10.00 each

cheap! they any good?

Thanks! Just got a pair a spares. Will leave one at work in case I shred a tyre on the way in. (Done it before)

Thanks, but is this not about the standard price?

All the sellers on Amazon seem to be a similar price

hi all i was wanting some help would these fit a wheel size of 26x2.0 ? as this is whats on the old tyre as the bike is a womans from halfords

thanks

These tyres are no good for tarmac the tread is only really good for off road. Expect a slow and noisy ride on smooth surfaces.
I bought nutrak tyres with a raised centre tread that runs much better on tarmac than these CST tyres as well as having grip in the rough. I would pay the extra few quid for those if your typical use is bike tracks. They are £15.49 a pair delivered on eBay ( could be cheaper elsewhere )

Relisted and cheaper now too

10.99now

Thanks op, just found this on a search, got 4 tyres and 4 coyote inner tubes for £36.00
