Reduced by 40% to make way from 2018 models.
A fair entry hybrid commuter with Claris groupset and Shimano mechanical discs.
700x32 schwalbe tyres.
Mounts for mud guards and panniers.
Being evans you can arrange to test it with them. If not in stock that is a refundable deposit to order and prepare - although if not to your liking no obligation.
Free first check up/adjustment.

Gozo had been saying on Giant hybrid deal discussion that he had been looking for good hybrid deals- no 21 in stock for him. 16 and 18' for small/medium. May be of interest to someone else in this price bracket.

Only for those who have posted a review after buying from one of several sites (wiggle, Halfords, tredz).

The frame itself I believe is the same as what was on the Strada 6 a few years ago and this is the review covers that bike:
road.cc/con…a-6

Difference are this will be slightly heavier, it has mechanical rather than better hydraulic and the claris is one groupset down from the sora (albeit more recent on its refresh ). The Strada 6 I gave some consideration due to its value when released (got a bargain on Croix de Fer 20).

As in the post though being a main retailor evans allow you to test drive if they have a demonstrator which is going to give you the best feedback of what you think, the geometry and how it suits you. If they do not have a demonstrator they ask for a deposit to order it in for you, make it up, fit it to you and then let you test drive it (out for a few hours at most). At that point it is either a case that you love it and continue or decline and get a full refund.

Any idea how heavy this bike is?

from the road.cc review above, I believe is the same frame which came in at 11.8kg - this has slightly heavier components albeit mechanical rather than hydraulic (i.e. no fluid weight). I would expect it to be with 12 to 13kg range dependent on size - but that is only making a guess from what I can see.
