When small town Washington sheriff Will Teasle (Brian Dennehy) detains a vagrant drifter for resisting arrest, little does he realise that he has set in motion a series of events that bring mayhem and bloody reckoning to his community. The shabby vagrant is in fact former Green Beret John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone – Rocky, Creed, The Expendables), a hero of the Vietnam War who has returned home to find America no longer wants him. Responding to brutal treatment from Teasle’s Deputies with sudden ferociousness, Rambo makes a daring escape from the town jail, steals a motorcycle and roars off towards the wilderness with the sheriffs not far behind.

Fully restored for the first time ever, First Blood is the explosive action-thriller that started it all! A breathtaking portrayal of America at odds with itself.

And in every other action film. Fail
Pretty poor picture quality on blu ray compared to modern or high budget films so not sure 4k would be worth the upgrade. I say hot if you don't already own. Oh wait. What sound does this get cos pretty sure blu ray is only stereo
Also geek point: rambo should not appear in the title. Marketing b*'ll*x
Sly at his best, great film with some actual political comment. You actually root for him as he blows up that sh*tkicking town and sheriff

Looked at some american reviews and spund may be dts hd 5.1 and they say there is picture improvement over blu ray. I think tenner is my threshold but voted hot as good film and product at this price
