Thought it was worth a post on here incase it would be useful to anyone with summer on the way, hopefully! Flightstore.co.uk have a clearance sale on all of their Randolph sunglasses at the moment, most have £70 - £80 off their advertised RRP. The ones I have linked here are just one example which is the aviator line, but other options like Concord also available. Most if not all seem to be cheaper than anywhere else on the internet including importing them from the USA where they are made. Postage is £3.95 (if you select non mainland UK strangely), but there seems to be a glitch if you select mainland it charges more. Free postage over £150.

They have many different lens options, I.e glass, plastic, polarized, non polarized. Also many different frame options including gold plated, so I won't go into too much detail and let you read the individual specifications on the flightstore website for each product.

Some generic information on Randolph and their aviator line. Made in the USA they come with a lifetime warranty on the frames. I believe they have the contract to supply pilots for the US miltary and NASA.
They come in 52mm 55mm and 58mm lens sizes (stock dependent) and there is a frame size guide along with other Randolph information on their website which I will link below. Respected as the one of the highest quality manufacturers of sunglasses.

Standing by for the usual, why pay so much for sunglasses in general comments which there is always an argument for but is relatively meaningless and subjective for any "luxury item", but these glasses are hard to get local in UK, they get great reviews, and are at discounted prices, so thought It was worth a post!

You lookin' at me?

These do have straight arms, but I think a Vietnam vet would have worn AO sunnies back then.

Ah brilliant. Now it's only 10 times over priced.
Sorry never spend more than 30 on sunglasses, lose them, break them or scratch them at the beach far too easily.

I love how cold this has gone. Personally I dont care as long as it helps at least one person! I'm assuming you have commented without doing any sort of research into the company, or ever owned a pair of these. Whether you like the product or RRP is irrelevant, they are heavily discounted and cheaper than anywhere else which is why I have posted this. Maybe if you relied on sunglasses for a job where you wear them up to 12 hours a day every day, then you might be willing to invest more to avoid headaches etc.

Couldn't agree more, these are not a throw around set, I have a pair for my job and if they last me 10 years then £14 a year is not a bad investment for possibly the best lenses and frames in the market. I also look after my sunglasses if they are expensive!
