all parp.... where are the modern games?

Seen a couple of decent deals posted here recently about this.
Seems to be "national" in the sense that it's "not just specific to one store", but at the same time it's a dice roll as to whether your local Sainsbury's will sell anything more than 2-3 games.

The one nearby to me has a grand total of 6 games for sale, for each of the 4 consoles. I asked if they had anything round the back and just ended up confusing them...

Still hot, since most of these are way cheaper than i've ever seen them even online. Definitely worth checking for, but like a few people have said elsewhere, it's a goose chase.

No modern games because no need to release modern games physically anymore. Sure it'll sadly be the case with consoles end of this gen/start of next

Some of those cheaper than online too. During the Steam Holiday sales Oblivion was reduced to between £4 and £6 (multiple deals) and Eador on its own never went below £5.

They do release new titles on disc though, they had Football Manager 2015 on the shelf for £29.99. Free places stock brand new PC games but they are still released on disc.
