£10k to loan a £29k car for two years/16,000 miles?

Hardly the deal of the century.

Errrm. Not really when most are parked up housing estate based drives.

Agree with you but there's no denying they are nice and if you had the choice between this and a Huyndai Tuscon you'd choose this.

For £10k over two years you could actually buy something really quite nice. Nowhere as nice as this, but still pretty good and you'd have it as collateral at the end.

I understand the merits of leasing vs buying perfectly well, but this is still tons of cash for few miles. Maybe as a business lease with more miles on it, but too rich for my blood.

I think its so funny that people would think someone else is "rich" if they were driving, owning or leasing a an Evoque! I suppose it all depends where you come from and live but its hardly expensive in the scheme of things. Most of all its the bottom RR!

I do believe the convertible version will become very popular though!

150 miles every week can be quite a lot if your commute is quite short. We do about 10000 miles per year spread between our two cars, so 8K is perfectly reasonable.
If your job pays a car allowance, then leasing is a very good option so why not? I suspect this has gone so cold because people are thinking only about themselves and their own little world as usual.

...and lets be honest, rich doesn't mean classy, style and politeness. Look at who drives some of the more expensive cars.

Could also be to do with the title, picture and description. Oh and maybe that its not a particularly good deal as well.

And by your own rationale, 150 miles per week can NOT be quite a lot for others which is why they vote cold. I didn't vote btw.

you probably are pretty rich if you can afford to throw away 10 grand on a car car that only cost 29 to keep forever.

Ten grand for 16,000 miles ... couldn't I get a taxi for that price?

Why would you want to own a taxi? (Unless you're a taxi driver of course)
