Taken from the GAME.co.uk web site:
---
Rango is an action/adventure game set in a gritty, pint-sized, Wild West world filled with off-colour characters, wild rides and frantic shoot-outs. Players of all ages will meet the residents of the town of Dirt and play through Rango's whacky Tall Tales of Adventure, brimming with intense action and outlandish scenarios.

Having saved Dirt from drought, players will be challenged to maintain Rango’s reputation as Sheriff and embark on his wacky adventures, performing dizzying feats of heroism as he spins spectacular and awe-inspiring stories for his fellow Dirtonians.

Players will explore a variety of environments featured within and beyond the film, and must achieve near impossible feats as they work to uncover a sinister alien plot that threatens to abduct the entire population of Dirt. Along the way, Rango will encounter all the trappings of an adventure set in the Old West – ridin’, jumpin’, brawlin’, and shootin’ – that are crafted from the film’s pint-sized desert scene.

Rango the Video Game will feature awe-inspiring gameplay sequences; authentic characters and intense action coupled with outlandish scenarios which are sure to encourage the wild imagination of all Rango fans.

hot stuff

Thanks so much i will have a happy 6 year old!!!

The film has got some awesome reviews.

Rotton tomatoes rates it very highly and 100% top critics.

Need to watch this. Might order this for a few hours of fun.

Heat added.

excellent price, just ordered for my son

Sons love it but very short...my 7 year old completed it in all difficulty levles with a few days.

Excellent price. Not my cuppa char but I've read reviews saying that this is a superior movie tie-in effort. Got 4/5 stars in The Sunday Times (and generally they're pretty reliable)

hot but £1 cheaper at gameplay and gamestation for the 360 n ps3

Xbox now out of stock

I did originally list this "deal" with a link to the PS3 product page, but during the time the title was changed (incorrectly) I suspect the link was changed also.

The other formats (PS3, Wii, NDS) are still all in stock.

fp,

I see your early quote re deal title changes and subsequent query. I can't see what the original title/link stated without delving a lot deeper, however rather than expire this thread I've reverted the title show the 2 products (PS3 and wii) which are still available at the price originally identified in your thread. I don't think we want to be diverting xbox and ds owners over to the merchant in false expectation.

If you need to discuss, give me a shout and I'll review.

Thanks for your feedback. I have been offline for a few weeks due to my Internet Service Provider's inability to resolve a connection problem at my local telephone exchange (even after being told what was needed to resolve it).

I linked all the product pages from the product images above; granted, that is not obvious as I often mention the link exists but in this case I did not.

The issue I have with titles &/or links being changed is that no comment is placed in the thread at the point of doing this.

For clarity, now, the following products are currently all in stock at GAME.co.uk at the prices listed below:

"Rango" DSi and DS Lite: £14.99
"Rango" PlayStation 3: £13.99
"Rango" Wii: £10.99
"Rango" Xbox 360: £19.99

I purchased the PS3 version (hence why I originally linked to that product as I could be assured that item was available at the price listed in the deal at the point I created it).

BFN,

fp.

Hi fanpages, as previously amended by ASB, upon checking the ps3/wii versions that ASB left in play only the wii version is currently the same price as originally posted, and still in stock.

Thanks for letting me know, missgem

The PS3 version I bought was for a present later in the year so I cannot offer my opinion of the game (so far).

Has any other member bought/played it on any platform & would be kind enough to offer a 'review', please?

(The single [Region 2] DVD & [Region Free] Blu-ray Disc/Digital/DVD editions of the film will be out in the UK on 25 July 2011).

fp.
