**BACK IN STOCK**

An incredibly low price for the 4GB RAM model of the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, from norfolksofleeds - an ebay top-rated seller with 13000+ 99.9% positive feedback.

About:
Raspberry Pi 4 Model B is the latest product in the popular Raspberry Pi range of computers. It offers ground-breaking increases in processor speed, multimedia performance, memory, and connectivity compared to the prior-generation Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, while retaining backwards compatibility and similar power consumption. For the end user, Raspberry Pi 4 Model B provides desktop performance comparable to entry-level x86 PC systems. This product's key features include a high-performance 64-bit quad-core processor, dual-display support at resolutions up to 4K via a pair of micro-HDMI ports, hardware video decode at up to 4Kp60, 4GB of RAM, dual-band 2.4/5.0GHz wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.0, and PoE capability (via a separate PoE HAT add-on). The dual-band wireless LAN and Bluetooth have modular compliance certification, allowing the board to be designed into end products with significantly reduced compliance testing, improving both cost and time to market.

  • Broadcom BCM2711, quad-core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC @ 1.5GHz
  • 4GB LPDDR4-2400 SDRAM
  • 2.4GHz and 5.0 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac wireless LAN, Bluetooth 5.0, BLE
  • True Gigabit Ethernet
  • 2x USB 3.0 ports, 2 x USB 2.0 Ports
  • Fully backwards compatible 40-pin GPIO header
  • 2x Micro HDMI ports supporting up to 4K 60Hz video resolution
  • 2-lane MIPI DSI/CSI ports for camera and display
  • 4-pole stereo audio and composite video port
  • MicroSD card slot for loading operating system and data storage
  • Requires 5.1V, 3A power via USB-C or GPIO
  • PoE (Power over Ethernet) enabled (requires PoE HAT)

Taken from raspberrypi.org/documentation/faqs/
"As far as we know, there are no fake Raspberry Pis. The processors used on the Raspberry Pi range are only available from one supplier, and only in quantities of several million at a time, which, together with the low price of the Raspberry Pi means it's not cost-effective for clones to be made. There are a number of competitor products that use similar names, but no actual clones or fakes."

A mis-price or mis-spec surely?Just looks to be too good to be true.

I think it must be something to do with retailers / raspberry pi foundation getting rid of old stock before revision 1.2 comes out to address this problem, as they may not be allowed to sell v1.1 after that. Nothing wrong though so long as you use the official or non 'E-marked' power supply.

Ive been considering buying one for this pi-hole.net/

It's a way to block advertisements for all devices on your home network. Although you can use an older and cheaper Pi as its not hardware demanding.

Another idea is using it for smart home automation.

It's amazing because there is no limit to what you can do with it!

Not everyone uses these or the firestick for piracy the fact you've bought that up tells me you have experience in that. I use my 3 fire sticks as intended for viewing Netflix, prime video, kodi With no addons and plex.

Be careful about what case you put it in as they run really, really hot. Consider getting a fan shim although these won’t fit if you also have a tvhat fitted
this seller normally has good deals for the raspberry pi, I was looking at prices last year and only went with another seller because I could get a power adaptor included at a discount. considering ordering this now though.
no doubt genuine

but could they be faulty in some way if customer returns ?

possibly as a result of the power resister issue ?

or some other fault over and above the software compatibility issues of the 4b+

It's not for coding specifically. Plenty of people use them as desktops or media PCs. The appeal for programming is that if you completely mess everything up you can take out the microSD card, plug it into a working PC and write a new image to it to recover in about 5 minutes so it's fairly safe for experimentation.

That said if the command line scares you do not purchase one because you will hit it at some point. Windows has a command line btw and most programs you use are using it under the hood so it's worth learning about.
Will these actually play a 4K film?? Tried a couple of micro pcs to use as a media centre but they did not play smoothly. Ended up getting the i5 NUC which is a great machine but not silent unfortunately

Can you use this to browse the web, watch 1080p VLC files and play some emulators like nes, SNES, N64? Etc?

They have many uses. Someone mentioned Kodi.
You can use it as a low powered server on your home network.
You can use them as a cheap PC. A tech savvy child would probably learn programming with one.
There are many sensors and addons that hobbyists just love to mess about with.
If you enjoy tech, they are the best toy ever.

Anyone's kid have one? Thinking of getting one for my 9 year old and just letting him loose with it... would be alot to learn for him as he only uses a computer for homework etc. He has never taken one apart or messed with components.
I use it for the excellent pihole as well. check out pihole reddit for tips

I’ve got pi-hole running on an old Raspi zero that was gathering dust on my desk. Probably the most useful thing I’ve ever done with it.

It can be made into a media centre by putting on a case on it, or made into a home games console, or a handheld games console.
Brilliant! Looking for a new Pi for Hass.io
