You can still only order 1
Imagine if Tescos wouldn't let you buy more than a single potato. Ridiculous policy.

Many supermarkets do impose caps on purchases that are on offer. Wines/spirits for example.
Ordered, thanks.

I've missed out on this several times so far so I'll be chuffed to finally get one.

Many shops do actually do this, the reasoning behind it is to stop people from buying the items in bulk, then reselling them on eBay at an inflated price.

You will find that Tescos do this with items that are more likely to be abused this way, mostly electronics. For example even now Tesco will only sell you 2 iPhones.

I'm glad they are doing one per person, because a thing like the pi zero is ripe for the picking, they are so cheap anyone with a little savings could easily buy up the entire supply of pi zeros and stick them on eBay at £10 a pop.
Just got a quick question as a Raspberry Pi noob, does the zero (£6.50 edition) come with the relevant cables to work? Purely because I don't think have the adapters laying around to make it work out the box

You get the board only for that price.

no, it doesn't come with any, but the question about relevant cables can differ from person to person.

E.g. I needed the special camera cable for mine to work for me, but didn't need a Mini/Micro (forgot which it is) HDMI as I don't want to connect mine to a screen.

Zero in stock. Lol

I wonder how many people got confused

Just ordered one-seems like there is stock

About 3.141592654 things.

They were first released 6 months ago. If they are STILL in short supply, that is because someone has made the conscious decision to restrict them. Ridiculous policy.

What the film? sure

They put the manufacturing capability (UK capacity) into making the RaspPi 3, which is hardly surprising given it's higher price.

People whine about a single board computer that costs £4 ??? Talk about entitled.
OOS

What can you do with a raspberry pi?

Most will end up running Kodi but their potential is limitless.
Got one ordered!
Thanks.

As for people asking what they can use them for - that's the fun bit... you your imagination!
Plenty of sites out there with ideas- such as Instructables
They are releasing another batch at 19:00 tonight as well so keep a look out. Must have quite a few as been in stock since 09:00 this morning and only just run out.

Assuming you mean the original Doom then I think so. It can run 4K at 15fps.

You are one entitled little man child, The Zero's are made in the UK at ZERO profit for the raspberry pi foundation why would they dedicate all their resources to that? And they cost £4 for gods sake! Limiting it to one per customer is the only fair way to do it.

And then we get poor pathetic sad little children like you complaining about it. I hope you miss every opportunity to buy one, actually, if I was a billionaire I would dedicate resources to make sure you never get one.

They can actually run quake 3 at a decent resolution at about 20+ fps
Sold out!
Looking for something cheap and cheerful to record Euro games whilst I'm at work.

Can I use this and Kodi to get the job done?

If its not ideal, can someone recommend me a similar cheap solution.

Cheers
i paid for zero about one month back and yet to get back the item. Has raised dispute.. They charge 2.5 pounds for shipping but sends it by local post and not helpful if u dont get it.

You can always buy something else from the shop at the same time... only one lot of £2.50 postage over whole order...
Saying these are £4 is disingenuous. You cannot buy them without paying £2.50 postage
back in stock!
Been wondering what the hype about PiZero is? Must be the price? It's got the power of the 1st gen Pi which is now slower for what most ppl end up using it for (kodi etc) and doesn't have an Ethernet port so can't be used for PiHole. It needs a load of adopters/converters sticking out of it to do most things too. I guess Zero is for people who really want to program on em!?

It's the incredibly low price making the board embeddable, you won't need all the adapters for a specific project

Are you new to the internet ? It's not £2.50 postage per item, it's per order.
