Ordered mine on the 14th,still not shipped.

Just an fyi
Remind me why this is better than the cheaper one?
Good price, although I only use mine as print servers so don't need the headers.

Heat added.
Comes soldered GPIO for just £3 more over Pi Zero W.
Also no limit on quantity (which effective helps to spread the postage charge on multibuy).
I bet this is a better deal than Pi Zero W, unless you have a defined permanent project which doesn't need GPIO (like the Pi Hole).
Heat added!
At long last; the Working from Home edition.

Global pandemic, millions dying, lockdown. Small companies affected badly. Just an FYI

The other popular deal on here, included wifi seemed to be the issue, what's so good about a "header"?

If you can’t solder, it’s great
if you can, spend 20p on a header from eBay and do it yourself

or just jam wires in the holes

or friction fit

Because I want to learn and do a Pi project, if that's OK with you?

No problem at all!

You’ll want this one then if you can’t solder

Or better value, buy a raspberry pi 3B+

Just depends on what you want to do

At the end of the day, it’s just a small computer, nothing else

If you’re not too bothered then buy a cheap arduino instead,

It’s very simple to get them to flash lights and react to switches and far cheaper! <£5 for the clone arduino Leonardo’s with built in USB

I haven't come up with a use case yet, I saw something good the other day , some sort of router that can fool Dazn and let me watch the footy...

Ah! Well, technically, that’s a bit dodgy ....and for that you’d need a higher powered raspberry pi running multimedia software with plugins sourced from the darker places on the inter web!

It's just redirecting traffic, otherwise, a small USB plex player perhaps... How about using an old xbox case and having an emulator rig?
zcaprd720/05/2020 17:14

The header is 40 pins that can be used to control electronics. If you want to do a pi project and learn to use them with electronics then I highly recommend the CamJam edukits. There’s 3 of them going from leds and buzzers to sensors then to a basic robot

329,112 officially confirmed deaths, so way off millions dying currently, it could still happen of course and possibly more likely due to socio-economic fallout from this pandemic, which is going to be seriously grim.

Anyway best skill up whilst you can to make sure you have better chance of being re-employed elsewhere, these Rasp Pi's are great for experimenting with and doing a few coding projects.

Does anyone know a way to use a Pi W with the original Pi camera module that will allow it to function as on ONVIF camera?

The OP isn’t watching TV on his Pi, the Pi is just directing web traffic from other media devices.

Eg DAZN account in Canada for watching football, the device he is logged in on will have traffic directed to Canada, simulating his location.

A Pi Zero is great for this use case.

Indeed, I'll build a robot first though:

Thanks, not sure the boy will be very happy when I kill his robot to watch the football...
Important life lesson, priorities.
