Ok, I know it's a cheapy but it may do someone a turn. At this price surely it's a good deal. The price is without delivery.

Oh well. Thought it was worth sharing.
good.
Dang nab it. These are just a tad too low for me and too small but was considering getting two to put side by side, if only the were a tad taller and maybe a little deeper. But they almost fit my needs. Pine wouldn't be first choice but if the price is right can settle. Not fond of going to Ikea either. Cheap though. So HEATED. Rast is a aweful sounding name for a line too. I'd probably replace the handles too.
Good for the bottom of cupboards, good deal and good to post these things as Ikea has so much stuff its a bit of a chore to discover the bargains.

Yes they really are narrow, very well built but no depth to them. Ideal for childrens underwear and smaller items but certainly couldnt get anything like teenager tee shirts in when folded.
nicespot cheap and cheerful
Picked one of these up a while ago. Quite nice if you whack on one of the stains they keep at the start of the warehouse section. The drawers aren't particularly deep though...
Heat added, ideal for Nov 5th.

Ikea ****.
Picked up 3 sets of these for my 2 boys room a few years ago - really can't get that much in them and the fronts always seemed to be coming off no matter how much wood glue and dowls were used - got fed up fixing them after 6 months so ended up putting them in the cloakroom as extra storage that doesn't get used much - good price if you're on a budget, easy enough to sand down if the kids get carried away with colouring but you really do get what you pay for with these

Hello Col, good to see you again Sir. Hmm it does sound less than positive doesn't it. However I do think the price is incredible and hence the heat as I am sure someone who doesn't mind pine, the handles, the name and the dimensions fit for them then this is a steal.

Hi Telboy, are you two related? Nice to meet your acquaintance, whether you are or not. Any friend of Cols is welcome in my book. Do you like these drawers?

I agree with the idea but I've seen 1000 times here when people posted something which was just a little bit cheaper and got a lot of negative comments and cold so don't really get why this is getting so hot while it's not a rocket science to find it if you are looking for cheap chest of drawers. Go to ikea.co.uk (which would be in top 3 places to buy cheap), put chest of drawer into search, sort by price and there you go ... Very unfair with other helpful deals.
dont forget to paint it with something. I didnt and after moving home two weeks ago and leaving this cabinet in the garage for few nights now the drawers wont open. it swallowed like gramma's feet

I also thought it was worth sharing and I heated for what its worth. They weren't a million miles away from meeting my requirements and I would not have known about them otherwise. Since I could use a set of drawers but it's not top priority I haven't been checking retailers. While they didn't fit for me it did lead me to check out Ikea's other ranges even though I'm allergic to going in there. Well the meatballs are nice an all but getting around is a chore and there is always some Road Rage guy in the parking area that really ought to just chill for the sake of his children. Plus it's a long way to go to find out that that there is a massive queue at the checkouts to buy that set of forks you picked up half way around for a quid. Still the meatballs are tasty.

Keep posing, if one person bought these as a result of your post it will have been worthwhile!
Handy for garage. Cheers.

Ikea is not about having items delivered, it is about going and collecting, which is why their delivery service in store is so high.
I have 3 of these sets of drawers in my kids room, great for their clothes because there small. Worth the £45 to sort the storage issues till there older. Ikea delivery is a rip off though so best to collect if your local but there worth the money for smaller clothes

Their delivery price is high because you pay a flat rate for EVERYTHING you buy, which for most people who go is nearly all the furniture in their home!....duhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
These were £39.99 when they first released them back in 1998 - I bought one then and we still have it, decent quality and if you paint them white they look good in kids room, spare room etc.
We bought a couple of these last month as we needed some new bedside tables - as other people have said they aren't big enough as 'proper' chest of drawers but they seem well made and since they are solid pine, can be painted to match your room.

Ours look like this now
