Yeah, you're being mugged!

Since when has £18 for a movie become a bargain:p

Blu=no value for money at all!!

having looked around on the net it seems £17/18 is now the norm. Still not bad for two blu ray discs. And actually its cheaper than buying the standard dvd version in some places.

The Pixar shorts are a bit of a waste of time in any event

This is brilliant - i love the pixar shorts! I managed to pick it up a few months back for £13. £18's not bad tho!

Well, I'm voting hot, as this looks absolutely amazing in High Definition, and the Pixar Shorts are brill (that little lamp is sooo cute!!)

It should be about a fiver judging by the average price of the 100 odd HD-DVDs I've bought in the past couple of weeks, which would have cost £2000+ in Blu - if they all were available

But the SD version offers the best deal on this title right now;-)

Not if you want a HD version it doesnt.

And that is just a tiny minority of buyers, which is why Blu will eventually fail unless the price differential becomes minimal.

must just be the brighton one being slow. price was definately £27 as i noted to my gf (as im that cool) that it was £3 cheaper than in zavvi. For some reason there are two hmvs near me which often vary in price, whilst one is selling national treasure blu ray box set for £38, the other is selling it for £27.99...
Ahh well, i ordered it online this evening anyway - only cost me £16.20 with student discount!

If you're a student, you shouldn't be spending that amount of money on cra*p movies in Blu-ray!

Go and get pisse*d on cheap cider and wait until you have a decent degree and a good career before you become a sad home movie buyer:p
