£15.49 is a good price for a RAVPower power bank (20000mAh) from Sunvalleytek, probably best for Prime members as you don't have to pay the large Amazon delivery charge.

There isn't much else to say...

"20000mAh long lasting power: airplane-friendly high capacity power bank provides 4-5 charges for the iPhone 8 Plus, 4 charges for the Samsung Galaxy S8, and 1.6 charges for the iPad Air 2.

Dual output meets all charging needs: includes Dual i-Smart ports for optimized charging with up to 5V/2.4A output per port (total 5V/3.4A).

Convenient output: Dual i-Smart 2.0 USB ports provide powerful total current output of 3.4A which can charges 2 devices simultaneously.

Thoughtful and detailed design: curved edges offer a better feel and a stylish look; all three ports are located together for convenience and to minimize wire tangling.

Trusted safety and protection: the 20000mAh portable charger keeps your device safe with voltage surge, over charge/discharge, and high temperature protections."

What the hell are you doing to them!
I have a couple of RAVPower power banks - including this one - and I personally think they're the best on the market! RAVPower is definitely a premium brand for this sort of stuff so you won't go far wrong with this one - especially at this price!

enjoying my 6 month trial of prime student so why not as I lost my other one.
This is a good price for a good brand, voted hot!

Just to get an idea, how long will something like this take to charge a samsung s10 or iphone 8. If charging both together will it slow?

Putting them in a pipe and smoking them!

Just kidding.

I've got both Anker and Ravpower. Much prefer the Ravpower.
Good price only downside is how much it weighs. 476.8g 😳

Can't tell about PB, but I've got a Ravpower charger since 4 years ago, used daily, still in perfect condition. I've mentioned before that to me Ravpower is at least the same quality as Anker if not better.
Guessing it doesn't have fast charging capabilities?

I barely use them but then when I need to go on a trip, I plug it in to charge it, come back and can smell burning
I’ve had 1 of this for a year now. My son uses it everyday and it’s still going strong. I’d definitely recommend this. I’ve taken it abroad on holidays and no issues. It charges up really quickly. I might get a 2nd one.
Just finding it hard to get it for £15.49(I got 3 weeks of Amazon prime trial left). Seems to me still at £19.48 where you confirming delivery address.

Just about to ask how much it weighs 🤭
Nice, was just talking about a new one today as the old device gave up :-)
I bought one of these generic Chinese power banks over Xmas from Amazon. Looks exactly the same as the one o purchased. It lasted perhaps a week and doesn’t work at all now. They are turkeys
Anyone got a good recommendation for a power bank in NI? Can't get anything like that shipped here

And probably won't have the safety systems that a reputable brand provides; please don't buy generic Chinese anything, especially if it's off Wish.
Ordered x02 for 15.98 non-prime thanks OP

Looks the same or is the same?

They are rectangular blocks of plastic. Doesn't take much to look the same.

Rav have been around as long as Anker and are well respected.

Will second this - bought the 21000mAh USB-C version in Summer 2016 (Pokémon Go ) and still used daily. It's regularly hooked up to three Fire HD10 tablets and charges all three at full whack.

I've not bought any USB cables since then either, as RAVPower gave a lifetime warranty with the pack of 6 (2x 10cm, 2x 30xm, 2x 100cm) I purchased at the same time. Whenever the monsters break a few cables, I email Customer Support and they send me a fresh box, next day, free of charge.

I've since upgraded to the 30W PD version (one of the few powerbanks that will actively charge a Nintendo Switch whilst you play) and it's equally well built.

Happy to recommend - just don't forget to register on the SunValleyTech (parent company) website, to activate the lifetime warranty.

(Edit: I mixed my 30W version up with the similarly priced 45W one.)

See my comment above - both RAVPower & TaoTronics are my go-to brands now - aftersales support is second to none.

Check the other versions if there's a specific charging format you're after. I've got the 30W PD version (26,000mAh, £55) and it'll fast-charge practically anything (even my sister's 2017 MacBook Air).

I have had Anker powerbank for a few years and it is very high quality. Aftersales support from Anker is incredible as well, I had a faulty cable (damaged due to excessive use) long after the Amazon returns period ended but they issued a replacement regardless.

Won't an 18W Type-C PD charge a switch lite? I thought you just needed more than that if you wanted to power the base unit as it has usb ports too...

Thanks OP, bought 2, getting them delivered to my son in Glasgow who's travelling home next week.

He’s charging them whilst they sit on a radiator.
Nice deal, for a good battery and comes with good cables. I just add anker cables to make it £20 so I get it for £15.49 without being a prime holder.

RavPower make some fantastic quality gear, I’ve bought this power bank and some extra cables and they’ve worked perfectly. No problems, it’s been used daily and is much better than anker imo.

I got one, and it does break, my son use it constantly. Like all things it does break just after the 2 years. It is much reliable and those ebay ones are nearly the same price as £15... I think it is cheap as new battery are coming out with c connection charging which is much faster to charge.

Yeah I’ve had mine around for 2 years and it’s still going strong. But just depends on how it gets treated like all things. The new usb-c power banks will be fast charging, so hopefully they can make some decent ones and I’ll probably consider buying one. I wouldn’t buy a power bank from eBay but that’s just me.
Micro-USB and 2A max output per port?! What good is all that capacity when it’ll take 10+ hours to charge the powerbank which in turn can only slow-charge your devices? Even if you use this powerbank for 4-5 hours a day, you would realistically only use up half its capacity and would then need to spend an equally long time recharging it, making that extra capacity utterly pointless. The ability to charge connected devices (and itself) quickly is a LOT more useful and utilitarian than all those amp-hours being trickled out at a slow pace. A lot of powerbanks are doing 30W or even 45W in/out over USB-C which is a lot more useful a lot more of the time. Just my two cents.

How are you charging the MacBook Air? I’m looking for a portable charger for a 2017 MacBook Air so this interests me, it has MagSafe 2 and no usb charging so how do you link it all together? With an adapter or something? Thank you for the link though.
I'd say it's worth the few quid extra to get this 1 with usb c power delivery and 18w quick charge. hotukdeals.com/dea…107
