Think I am getting confused with anker power iq
Cheers op! Was looking for one of these.
I got an Anker one previously and that messed up so returned it, hopefully this one will be better
Faster than the ipad charger, or same?
It's a decent unit. I've had mine for several months now and my Xiaomi A1 works well with it. My partner's G4 - not so well. It makes the screen behave oddly if uses when charging. Probably because it delivers more current than the G4 is able to handle.

Personally I would stick with the official chargers with all the reports of people's Switch getting bricked by third party chargers.

I don't know manufacturers insist on making these these USB chargers way.

The protrude too far into the room to start and with and then the addition of the USB plugged in makes for a messy looking charger.

They should make them more flat against the wall with the USB ports on the upper or lower face of tje charger which would create less stress points for cables and also look neater.

But that's just me I guess.

Obviously, different strokes an all that.

I ended up getting some UK 3-pin plugs with integrated IEC C7 (figure:8), shown below and use them with an Anker 5xUSB charger and also camera battery chargers, which IMHO, work with with great effect and keep cables kinda low profile-ish.33701893-KpMwu.jpg33701893-St0kO.jpg

Also allows the cable to hang freely as dictated by gravity, which puts less stress on the strain relief of the cable.

I got it from "kenable.co.uk" but not sure if they have any left an currently showing as OOS.

When I first came across them they were showing as OOS then too though, but after contacting Kenable to ask when they'd have them back in stock, they replied to say they actually had around 10 IIRC and I bought four of them.

This was back in 2016 though, but it may be worth dropping them an email to ask.

I haven't seen them anywhere else either, which is strange for such a useful adapter.

They are really well made and robust too!

Manufacturer: Yung LI
Model Number: PL11185 / YL-6013L
British Standard: BS1363/A

List of "Yung Li" adapters here:
yung-li.com.tw/en/…htm

Hope that helps.
