Will this start a Nissan Leaf?
Blatantly fake reviews, even if the product is half-decent there's no way I'm giving my hard earned cash to a dishonest seller.

I have the same thing from different manufacturer....worth every penny.

Usually over £50 for similar versions so this is a bargain
3L gasoline = 3L petrol

No mention of diesel but I believe these 400A rated ones are for <1.9D. Anybody know?
Looks like a handy thing too have.decent price too.
These any good for 2.0 diesel engines?

I bought one of these the last time it was posted at £30. I never got it though. Lost at the sorting office apparently.

I've got an Aukey Car starter. So not the same brand, but it started my 1.8 TDCi Mondeo without a flicker when I had a dead battery after work one day.

As I stated the other day, I'd never jump a car again with leads, after frying the ECU on my wife's Corsa using jump leads from the aforementioned Mondeo, and having to spend £400 on getting it fixed.

I have one - it's saved me a number of times.

Very handy tool.
Bought on 6th Dec all works car battery and s8 charge.
If you don't have one of these get one now. You won't regret it.
Great price good spot op.......
If the need ever arose, can these be used to jump start a PHEV?
With all the warnings about not using jump leads on a modern car and not charging the battery without disconnecting it are these jump starters ok to use without causing damage to the electronics?

This is useless with diesels , amazon.co.uk/gp/…c=1 is ok with small diesels £44.09 after applying the offer .
Above is good advice - Used a number of these , wouldn't get one with less than 800amps if I had a diesel - it's very hit and miss with these though as all cars need different cracking amps to start and it depends on the condition of the battery aswell

Was it this specific model that you used successfully to restart your car? What sort of car was it?
Absolutely brilliant invention. I don't have this specific one. I have a long term illness so barely drive my car and it can refuse to start when the temperature drops. Simple to use and brings so much peace of mind x

Do these sort of jump starters start a vehicle say if the headlights have been left on all night say or are they only good enough to start a vehicle if the battery has dropped to say 9-10 volts any information would be welcomed. T.I.A.

Sure thing, I have one and it will start a battery from dead with the scenario you pointed out. I top my battery up for like 30 seconds through the cigar lighter socket if i havent driven my car for over 4 days. But for that you need another device that attaches to the power pack.

Why would PHEV require a jump start ? Battery would be charged along with Battery pack when it's being charged from mains.

No mines different slightly larger power source but this will work fine. Cars I've used it on... Audi s3, Vw Lupo, Suzuki Swift, Honda Accord and few other cars since I've had it. Even helped people in car parks when I've seen them stuck.
I review items on YouTube and it was something I got sent to test, but I'd of been more than happy to pay for it as it's a must have to keep in the car.
Yesterday I used mine at the garage as the car was getting MOT'd, MOT tester turned the engine off but the lights were on, he was going to use a jumper pack but I told him have no fear and pulled this from inside the glove box, he even said that'll never work! He was rather shocked it did lol

Ideally you need a 600A for a 2.0ltr diesel.

I have the same problem
42.99 now
Anyone know roughly how long it takes these to discharge from full charge?
have used it twice. i feel confident driving with this thingy in my car
Great find thanks OP and confirmed at £32.24
Don't get it, why does this type of starter only need thin wires and jump leads require much substantial ones.
Seeing this reminded me I was after a solar panel trickle charger for my van to keep my leisure battery topped up. Does anyone have experience of these and can recommend one?
